(Not really any nudity mentioned here, but it's implied in the previous chapters so I am including it.)
Erick and Johnny went off back towards the direction of the entrance again to get their bearings, but suddenly there was this eerie scratching and thumping sound.
"Erick is that you making those noises? Because if it is then I'm going to bite you for trying to make me scared." Johnny said
"Th..that's not me I hear it too though. I'm not lying either Johnn....y." Erick said then stopped frightened seeing a large winged figure at the end of the hall.
"What's with the pause?" Johnny asked looking back, but kept walking
"Johnny you may want to step back towards me." Erick said
"Ha ha, nice try, but I'm not going to fall for tha...oof." Johnny said accidentally walking face first into the figure, and suddenly two glowing yellow eyes appeared and the figure bent down towards Johnny.
"OH CRAP WHAT THE HELL!!!" Johnny yelped and screamed rushing back and hid behind Erick's front claws.
The figure then began slowly walking over, and Erick didn't move a muscle as Johnny was waiting for him to do something to help them escape. Erick was frozen in place as the figure stepped into the twilight of the moon and stood in front of Erick and Johnny revealing itself to be a living gargoyle of some kind. The gargoyle leaned in and smelled both Erick and Johnny, and it seemed oddly calm about it.
"Greetings trespassers, I see that my years of neglect and lack of experience have had no effect on my intimidation. Now state who you are, and why you are here now, or else I will be forced to kill you both." The gargoyle ordered
"I...I'm Erick and this is Johnny, me and a group of friends including Johnny, his brother Ryan, and two others named Mike and Sei came here on a dare just to look around and see what the place here is like at night. I went one way, Ryan went another, Johnny here went alone and Mike and Sei stayed together. Johnny and I here were both human too before we entered and then we had our own separate experiences." Erick said nervously
The gargoyle then glared at Erick and saw the crown,"Were you planning on taking this?" The gargoyle asked pulling the crown off of Erick and holding it up in front of him.
"Well...uh...yes? I found it and tried it on and transformed into a dragon, and ever since then it's been hard for me to put it down, but if you really REALLY do want it back then you can have it." Erick said thinking that he has become a bad person, and was having second thoughts about his wording.
The gargoyle sighed,"If you really wish to claim a cursed item then keep it by all means. I have no use guarding the possessions of those who are deceased. As for your friend here, you both have nothing to fear from me unless you wish to destroy the property." The gargoyle said and returned the crown to Erick's horn.
"W...wait what you aren't going attack us for trespassing or anything?" Johnny asked
"Normally, I would maul you to death on sight, but things here have been dreadful lately so seeing new faces is comforting, even if they are just juvenile young adults who take without permission. I guess the most I can do now is merely welcome you to Spelstorm Manor." The gargoyle said
"Welcome us....wait please can you help us find our friends? We're trying to get out of here because of the transformations." Erick asked
"Yeah, and is there a way to turn us back human again?" Johnny asked
"I can see your concern for your allies, and I can help you with this. However, all transformations that happen in Spelstorm Manor are permanent, they can be altered further too after transforming yes, but you can never return to your original form that you had upon entering." The gargoyle said
"Aw man, what's mom going to say about me now. I'm literally proof that hell extsts at this point." Johnny said
"Okay, I wasn't going to say anything about this Johnny, but you're kind of slowly burning my stomach right now." Erick said
"Oh crap, sorry dude." Johnny said moving to Erick's side
"Okay back on topic, can you at least tell us where our friends are?" Erick asked the gargoyle
"Yes, but it is not my duty to aid you physically. All of your friends are in quite interesting situations, but nonetheless dire. What most humans don't realize is that Spelstorm Manor contains every cursed item in existence, and that those same items decorate the mansion. I myself can see through the eyes of the various false gargoyle statues here, and I can see your friends. One is in the exotic animal quarters which has cursed items from many animals, and if he touches one then two come out of opposite gender. Another is in the cellar and is currently being an arrogant and stubborn fool and is toying with the spirit of the young deceased Master Christopher. That human will likely become Christopher's friend if the young master likes him, or a slave if not. The last is being cautious, but I see another creature with him that's stalking him in the secret enclosed garden, perhaps the human has become prey, or a possible interest for the stalker. Maybe I should take interest in that last human, for this creature is completely unknown to me, and could damage or destroy the property. If this creature attacks either your friend, me or destroys property then you have my word that I will protect your friend." The gargoyle explained
"If you could protect him then thanks Mr. Gargoyle sir. Also if you see them tell them to meet back here if you can please." Johnny said, and the gargoyle nodded, and flew off down the hall.
"Wow, that's a lot to take in." Erick said
"Which part? The whole story was long so there's that, but there's also the fact that the gargoyle has stone wings and he is flying, and he's also doing that indoors too." Johnny commented
"Okay then, but let's focus now, the gargoyle is going to the gardens so where do you want to go Johnny? Alone or with me? To the kennels or the cellar?" Erick asked
(Please note, it is implied that Ryan is in the cellar, Sei in the kennels, and Mike is being stalked in the gardens, the gargoyle will always go to the gardens here. Also follow whoever is mentioned in the option title.)
