Heather and her family pulled into the parking lot of Sunshine Pastures Daycare. Her mother gets out of the car and unbuckles Heather and her brother from their car seats. Heather's mommy holds her hand and carries Derek on her hip as they walk into the daycare. At the front desk, the receptionist greets the family and notices Heather for the first time.
"Hello sweety, what's your name?"
Heather blushes and hides behind her mommy. "This is Heather. It seems she's the newest baby of the family. I'd like to enroll her in the crawlers room since she's not ready to use the potty." Mommy said.
"Of course. We accept babies of all ages. Just know she'll be the oldest baby here by far." The receptionist said. "We just need you to fill out a few forms and we'll take her back with the other babies." After the forms are filled out, a daycare assistant arrives and lifts Heather onto her hip with some effort.
"Hello, little one. I'm Ms. Angela. What's your name?" The assistant asks.
"Heawther." Heather says, childishly.
"Heather, what a pretty name. Uh-oh, looks like you did some pee-pee in your diapie. Let's get you changed." The assistant cooed.
