"Can't you think of any way to work around it?" Ashley asks, using only one head. She was impressed with the results, but she would like to not be stuck as four beautiful, two torsoed, for headed, eight faced women for the rest of her life.
The head scientist had closed the link, however Ashley's evolved hearing could pick up the murmurs of the other scientists in the observation room. "Ok, Ashley." The head scientist is back on the com link. "We may have an idea to get you back into one body. I'm putting on one of the researchers to explain the plan to you."
The voice of a young man spoke shakily into the mic. "Uh... Ms. Ashley? The plan, well I think I may have a uh... plan. Ok! So! The specific evolutions you are undertaking are directly influenced by outside factors and any task you were given. The tests we are performing are mainly audio and visual based with memorization and multitasking, so that's why you have so many heads and eyes. My theory is that because the laptops were so far apart, your body evolved into four bodies so you can better complete that goal. If we cram all of you into a tight enough space between the laptops, you may evolve at least back into a deevolveable state. So get to the middle and the test will begin."
Ashley got up four times, and then walked into the center of the room. The pedestals with the laptops on them moved towards her, closing in tightly so she found it hard to move. Her bodies were all facing the same way, not that it mattered much due to all her arms and eyes.
The videos flipped on, as did the computers, and she was off. The questions were hard, things like "number of advertisements with blue logos times the number of shark films" and "volume of a cylinder with a circumference of the number of video game livestreams and a height of the number of animal documentaries" Ashley had to think quite a lot before answering with 63 and 200pi.
