"The commissioner has a point. There are people out there who need our help. Besides, we should be focused on defending our own people." Colin said calmly.
Perkins was wide eyed. "Are you serious?! Have you forgotten your own numbers?! We need to-"
Colin spoke up with "What if that base is overrun, huh? We can just train some people here ourselves!"
The Commissioner followed up "We can't afford the risk. Sorry, but that's how it is!"
Perkins went silent and headed off to his quarters begrudgingly. Colin could imagine a "Perkins will remember that." text box above the image of the frustrated man.
"You think you could lend a hand with this training you suggested?" the Commissioner asked. Colin nodded and went off to his sleeping bag. He knew training people would be a long day tomorrow, but if it meant they stood a better chance against the bimbos, everyone would be better off for it.
"Yessir, I've got it covered." Colin said aloud.
An old man stared at him and asked, "Who are you talking to?"
"Nobody." Colin said as he fell asleep.
The old man simply stared, said "Alright then.", and fell asleep.
