“It’s not like someone’s gonna come and pick us up, anyway! Probably.” Bianca pushes the suggestion further, tapping her foot against the ground impatiently.
“I...I think I’ll join you, at least.” Belle steps up to her friend, taking Bianca’s hand. “Um, besides… Why would somebody just leave us here? Especially if they would just return later…”
At her friend’s support, Bianca smiles before looking back to the other girls, her face that of determination.
Before long, she managed to convince everyone...more or less. And so, with no specific path in mind, they start to walk, heading towards the mountains in the distance… For one reason or another, it just seems like a good place to start. After nearly three hours of walking, now surrounded by tall, mighty trees, their leaves rustling in the wind, they finally stumble upon a second problem…
Robin’s belly growls, making her slowly stop to a halt.
“Everyone, uh… We...don’t happen to have anything edible?” The hungry red-head asks, looking across the group hopefully. Unfortunately, all she’s met by are negative responses - though, as she brings the topic up, she isn’t the only one who’s hungry. ...Everyone is.
“This sucks…” Sigrid groans, crossing her arms in annoyance - she knew she should have snuck those candy bars to school…
“Maybe we could find some berries?” Morgan suggests, having been mostly quiet until now. Robin nods in approval, smiling to her sister.
“Yeah, that seems like a good idea! I mean, we’re in a forest and all. There has to be something around!”
“Oookay! Then we’ll split up!” Bianca announces suddenly. “We’ll split up and search the area! Um…” She breaks a branch off a tree, only to stab it into the ground. She looks over to Belle afterwards...and pulls the ribbon she has in her hair off, wrapping it around the branch. “And we’ll meet back here!”
“B-but…” Belle stammers, not exactly pleased with the use of her poor ribbon.
“Them, there is but one choice… We split up!” Ann-Stine raises her hand, first pointing at Bianca and Belle. “Teams of two! And, as such, you’re on a team!” Not giving anyone time to react, she continues, point over at Robin and Morgan. ...Not a surprising combo. “You two just make sense. Aaand that… Leave I, and the short o-”
“I-I’m not short!” Sigrid cries, threatening to just go and hit Ann-Stine.
Nevertheless, now split, they go in separate directions in search of anything to eat.
