Rick saw Chad standing alone near the pool patiently waiting for some unknown intent. Rick tried to remember why he'd sent Chad here, or why he'd followed Chad at all. His knuckles dragged as he approached the rubbery black man looming before him. Suddenly Rick felt scared.
Jumping back he screamed at the much taller thing before him howling at it in animalistic fear or was it frustration. "Ooooh oooh EEEK!" Rick continued pounding his fists on the pavement trying to get the black thing to react. With every passing second lost the larger and more intimidating Chad seemed to get. Unfortunately Rick was no longer aware that Chad himself wasn't the cause of this, but rather Rick was reshaping, shrinking down into his new more subservient position in the animal kingdom.
Rick knew that the thing should listen, should react to what he told it but no matter how hard he tried or what he did, it did not. Chad belonged to him, obeyed him, it had, hadn't it? He continued to yell like an animal unknowingly alerting those nearby to his diminutive predicament. Eventually the light of intelligence began to fade from Ricks eyes as he skulked over to the feet of the drone and clung to it like a monkey on a jungle gym, reduced and defeated by his own cocky curiosity.
