There was no doubt in either one's mind that the werewolf and the werepanthress were deeply in love.
When Ben Twist knocked on the front door of Kenya Adaeze's aunt and uncle's house, both were happy to see each was already in their respective fursonas, with Ben carrying a tote bag of both his personal belongings and things they would need on their date.
After bidding adieu to her family, the happy couple walked paw in paw into the woods until they found "their spot" by the fallen log.
Laying out the blanket from the bag, the two sat down with their backs to the log and started holding and caressing each other tenderly.
There was no doubt about the feelings each had for the other, so they took their time.
Each touch and caress leading to more.
The gentle touch of their muzzles against each other, how the fur of one felt against the other's coat.
When the moment of total physical union came, it wasn't rushed.
It was the ultimate expression of their love.
The climax of mutual orgasm wasn't achieved by outright rutting or even good old fashioned sex, but by something as much emotional as physical.
When the fire of passion finally ebbed (for the moment) and the top knot of the werewolf's lupine red rocket finally slipped out of the werepanthress' clutching depths, Ben and Kenya held each other close on the blanket while looking up at the stars when they weren't staring deeply into the eyes of their love.
"Are you going to that wedding tomorrow morning?" Kenya asked, finally thinking of something to say beyond "I love you, my darling werewolf."
"At least the first ceremony. The one to officially tie the knot between Jennifer Harper and Harry Jenkins," answered Ben. "I'd like to be at the second one too, at least to protect my moms if not help out with security as well, but I'm not sure they'll let me."
"Are the rumors I've heard about these people coming from Alabama true?" asked Kenya, not bothering to hide the concern and fear in her voice.
"To an extent, yes," admitted Ben, not seeing any point in lying to his girlfriend. "I don't know everything, because Frances won't betray doctor/patient privilege and Samantha won't share town secrets and plans; but considering what I do know of her father and that jerk that thinks she's his property, I'm surprised Jennifer Harper didn't leave home sooner."
"Maybe she couldn't," surmised Kenya, while nuzzling closer to Ben.
"Doesn't matter. She's here now, and even if Jennifer Harper wasn't a fellow were, Moon Lake takes care of its own," Ben said confidently.
They were silent again for a while until Kenya spoke. "Benjamin, have you thought more about our future together?"
"Me and you. Husband and wife once I turn 18 and can officially ask for your paw in marriage. What more is there to know?"
"Like, how will you afford college? Where will we live? How we will survive until you graduate and start succeeding in your career?"
Ben thought about it for a moment before saying, "I'm actually not supposed to tell anyone this, but I love and trust you. My biological parents started a college trust fund for me before I was born, and Frances and Samantha kept it going after their untimely passing. While I don't know the exact amount in it," Ben continued, not knowing the account currently had over $2 million dollars, "my moms say there's more than enough to cover ALL my college expenses, and I'll get the rest upon my 25th birthday."
"That is good," replied Kenya, looking directly at the man who had her heart. Then she chose her words carefully before saying, "There is something I have not told you yet, my love."
"Unless there's someone else or you're pregnant, it doesn't matter," said Ben, before kissing Kenya again.
"I want total honesty in our relationship Benjamin. Without that, what kind of life will we have together?"
"Okay honey. What is it?"
"Besides studying business and accounting, I have done well so far for myself within the world of finance. When the time comes, if necessary, I am more than willing to use that money to help us build and secure our life together."
"Okay," was Ben's only reply.
"That is all you have to say?" asked Kenya, raising her head to look at him.
"We love each other so much that we're willing to help each other out whenever possible. Does anything else truly matter?" Ben asked in return.
"No. It does not," Kenya said as a smile crossed the werepanthress' muzzle. Then she nuzzled closer to her man again, not saying any more about the fact that she currently had almost $40 million dollars earned and saved from her investments.
The lovers remained in each other's furry arms for a while until Kenya asked, "When the time comes, what kind of wedding would you like?"
"Nothing elaborate. My moms and a few friends present as witnesses, but otherwise we can get married by a Justice of the Peace for all I care. You?"
"I want my whole family there. My aunt and uncle, as well as my parents and younger sister," answered Kenya.
"Understandable," said Ben.
"But at the very least, I still want to wear a white dress, and I think you would look handsome in a tuxedo. My parents were married by a Justice of the Peace, but they did not have much. They only wore the best of what they owned to the ceremony."
"Okay," said Ben, looking directly at her. "But in the end, it doesn't matter how you get married, but who you marry."
"On that I fully agree my love," said Kenya happily, before she kissed Ben, which was the start for another long and intimate romantic union under the stars.
