You stumble out of the tent, nostrils flared and getting way too much information. So many of the boys here need a shower, and that includes you. Several boys stop to stare at you and grin. One of them comes up and feels your muzzle without asking, but you are still too shocked to do anything but stand there.
"Wow! Cool look!" The kid looks to be about fifteen, dark-haired and freckled, with a wide grin that reveals scummy teeth. "Can you still talk?"
You try to say 'Of course,' but what comes out is a grunting whinny. More attempts to talk result in other horse sounds. The boy laughs. "You even sound like a horse! That is way cool, Dude!"
Cool? You stare at the kid, wondering if he is making fun of you. But then you see a Great Dane with a boy's head walk by, and another kid with an elephant's trunk instead of a nose. A humanoid tiger is over at another booth - the one getting the painted stripes? You aren't the only one here with animal parts. Other boys stop to admire you and rub your chin. Maybe this isn't so bad. You go back and look in the mirror again. The horse's head is beautiful, and now that you have had some time to get used to the idea, it fits nicely on your body.
