Mary loved fairies. Like, REALLY loved them! Quite frankly, she was obsessed with them. For years she was studying them, buying old books, probably thousands of years old, about them, from all cultures of the world. She was sure they exist. Somewhere. Out there. For years she tried all kinds of methods to catch one. And now, today, on this fateful day, she finally did it...
In an old chinese book about fairies she read that they hate animals in prison and try to free them. So what did Mary do? Exactly that. She catched some butterflies for practice in catching fairies should she ever catch one that tries to flee. She placed those butterflies in a jar and went "sleeping". Then, after 3 and a half hours of wait, she finally heared some noises.
"Dont worry little flier, you will soon be free!", said a small female fairy. Barely an inch tall, she stood there on the table, her big butterfly wings folded. Then, suddenly, a glass jar dropped on her.
"YES! FINALLY! AFTER SO MANY YEARS I DID IT! THEY THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY! HAHAHAH!"
"Please, set me free! Or... or...!"
"Or WHAT? I studied you for years! You have no powers if trapped! Now, if you want to be set free..."
"Wha-at... d-d-do you w-want?", asked the fairy.
"What I want? Well, for years I have studied you. For years I have tried to catch one of you. And now, I finally did it. I want power! Muhahahaha!", said Mary, nearly crying of joy.
"Okay, I will grant you your wish. Wait a second.", the fairy said with a grin on her face. Then, the fairy began to glow and Mary knew what this meant.
"NO! You will stay here!" Fully knowing that this glowing meant that the fairy is teleporting back to her home, having read this in countless books about fairies, she touched the fairy and promptly got teleported, too.
After a brief moment she awakes. "Oh my god! Its all like it was described in the books! This must mean that the tree where the fairies get their powers from must be right there!"
"Oh no, you got here with me! SHIT!", the fairy said with a disturbed look on her face. Mary ran to the big tree in the middle of the fairy village, drinking from its glowing golden nectar, destroying some fairy homes in the process.
"Yes, power! Its all mine! HAHAHAH!". Mary got a mad look on her face.
Suddenly, Mary was glowing....
