Class had passed by rather quickly for the rest of them, and before they knew it the four mystics had gathered near Dawn's locker to discuss their options.
"We have another fifteen minutes before my mom comes to pick us up," Rachel explained. "We have to find this book before anyone can get a hold of it."
Kate, who had been hovering near Rachel's arm, scowled. "Speak for yourself," she said, flexing her arm. "You know how tiring this is? Flying everywhere? It's exhausting." She eyes Tanya curiously.
Tanya instinctively and nervously pawed at the ground with her front left leg. "What?"
"Can I rest on your back?" Kate asked hopefully. "Any more if this and I'm going to pass out."
Tanya hesitated before wordlessly nodding. Kate let out a small woop of joy and settled onto Tanya's lower back. Tanya felt a chill run down her spine as she felt someone actually riding her. A tiny person perhaps but the feeling was still surreal.
"Let's split up," Dawn reasoned. "Tanya and Kate search the first floor while me and Rachel search the second. That good?"
Everyone nodded.

Tanya wandered around, with Kate just resting on her back. "So how's it feel?" She asked the fairy.
Kate shrugged half-heartedly. "Annoying," she replied. "I have to fly everywhere and being as small as I am, people often ignore me. Granted it's not so much different from when I was a guy but at least I was a normal height then. You?"
Tanya shivered. "It's weird," she admitted. "Having another entire lower body like this that I have to keep track of. I've already bumped into a few things already. Plus having to walk around with four legs is tough. Much tougher than have two." She went silent for a few seconds. "I wonder if this is how Dawn felt...?"
"Tanya! The book!"
Tanya skid to a halt and looked around. "Where?"
Kate flew up and pointed to a teacher. "There!" Her breathe was caught in her throat. "He's gonna open it!"
"Wait!" Tanya yelled, accelerating forward with surprising speed. But she was too late.
The man had already opened the book and light was gathering at his fingertips.
