When the three sets of conjoined triplets got back to Scott's house, Ethan and Scott were there, having skipped work that day. They had just been hanging out as a two-headed man, and they were glad that their sons and their friends were back for some more multi-headed fun.
"How'd it go at school today, boys?" Scott asked his sons.
"Pretty much the same," Mark replied.
"Except everyone noticed our 'costumes'," Max chuckled.
"They sure brought us all a lot of attention," Zack added.
"Did anyone question you guys, or make any of you unfuse at all?" Ethan asked his son.
"No one was that curious at all!" Luke laughed.
But Luke was wrong; in fact, four of the guys' friends were curious. These friends also happened to be quadruplets: Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey. They were all the same age, and had known their friends for some time, each having befriended them at different times and through different means. Also, the entire gang had dressed up in several group costumes at Halloween and other costume parties, even as conjoined siblings; however, none of the four brothers had ever seen their friends so coordinated and so comfortable in so good a "costume". So, while none of them were looking, the four brothers followed the group back to Scott's house to see what was going on. As they looked through the windows, they saw that some of the guys were taking their shirts off; their jaws dropped when they saw only one body underneath! Their friends really were conjoined twins now! Each of the brothers looked at each other wondering, "What the **** is going on here?!"
Then, Scott's front door opened. No, it was not Leo, Donnie, Raph, and Mikey; they were still hiding in the bushes outside. Brian, Luke, and Nick were going across the street to Ethan's house to hang there; they didn't see their friends in the bushes, nor did they see them follow them across the street. Once inside, Nick noticed the brothers behind them out of the corner of his eye. Naturally, they were invited in, and all four brothers sat down in the living room. Brian, Luke, and Nick then sat their body down and told the whole story--Luke's wish, his new clothes, the suit, everyone who knows, and the various "bonds" that they had formed since. They even demonstrated the power that Luke and Ethan and Max now had, and did so by having Luke separate himself, Brian, and Nick back into three separate bodies--thankfully, their clothes unfused along with their bodies.
"So, where is the suit?" Leo asked.
"My dad and I brought it back upstairs to my room," Luke said.
"Was that after Max unfused us the other day?" Brian asked.
"Yep." Luke replied.
"Does it still work?" Donnie asked.
"Brian and I would think so," Nick said. "But the two of us have only used it once."
"Do you think it could work with four?" Raph asked.
Luke knew what the four were thinking at this point.
"Well, I don't think any of us ever used the suit for more than two," Luke said, "and it's called a conjoined twin suit for a reason."
"But you said you, your dad and Max had the same power," Mikey said. "Can't you fuse others on your own?"
"Of course THEY can," said Nick. "Luke and his dad got the power through a wish, and Max got it when he fused completely with Luke."
"Why do you guys ask?" Luke smiled, as if he knew what was going to happen next.
