On Monday Jae got to school at the same time as Luca was walking up.
"Yo Luca!!! How did you like the movie? Where did you guys go to dinner after?" Jae smiled.
"The movie was far scarier than I'm used to." Luca said. Jae smiled to himself, having picked the perfect movie. Then Luca blushed and in a quieter tone said "umm We didnt go out for dinner...we kinda ended up at my place."
"Wow! That's great!" Jae cheered.
"I really like him. I havent felt this way about anyone! He's just so amazing. He's beautiful inside and out. Thank you for introducing him that day." Luca said with a smile bigger than Jae had seen.
Deciding not to pry, instead waiting for either one of them to give more details, Jae pulled Luca closed with his arm around his shoulder and said "Awww...its nice to finally see what your real smile looks like. I hope things work out for you, you deserve it!"
"I'll catch you later..I gotta put my bag from practice this morning in my gym locker and get to homeroom."
The school day passed, as usual, without incident. After school Jae, Park, Tristan and Silas met for soccer practice. When Luca arrived he saw Ty and Marco up in the bleachers talking. It looked like Ty was helping Marco with some assignment. As Luca approached, the had been wrapping up. Marco got up and said "Thanks dude. Hopefully it will stick this time. I'm hittin the beach now before it gets late." he said with both a slight surfer tone with a Latino accent. He turned and saw Luca coming "Oh hey little dude!" Luca hated when Marco called him that. "Ya know anytime you guys wanna come, I could teach you to surf." he turned to Luca and said "Youd be sexy as hell if just got some sun." Luca rolled his eyes and Marco winked and start to walk away "Later dudes." Luca put his bags down and as he was sitting down, Ty grabbed him by his waist, pulled him on his lap and pulled him if for a long, passionate kiss.
"How was practice this morning sugah?" Ty asked, wrapping his arms around Luca.
Luca leaned back onto Ty's chest and relaxed. "Great! Although I may have to start training after school because Im working on a new routine..." Looking a little sad he continued "...so I don't know how much time I will have for us."
"Don't you worry about sugah. We'll just have to make the most of our time together. I don't care if that means sneaking off during lunch, me taking you to and from practice...listen to me..if two people are meant to be together, they will find a way." he tilted Luca's head up and gave him a reassuring kiss. "I'd even sit and watch you practice...we may not spend a lot of time together, but I'd still be seeing you."
Practice came to an end and Jae and the rest of the crew headed towards Ty and Luca in the bleachers. They were in their own world, making out, which made Jae look at Park and grin. When they finally broke their kiss, they looked, a little surprised to see the guys standing their grinning.
"Well well!!" Tristen said smiling.
"What have you here?" Silas finished with a matching smile.
"When did yall finish?" Ty said.
"Shortly before you finished!" Park teased. "I take it you guys had fun Friday."
"You could say that...and Saturday...and Sunday" Ty blushed. "I kind of asked.."
" We're dating!!!" Luca said with the biggest smile any of them had seen. They all expressed how happy they were for Ty and Luca, remarking how Ty must be magic because they had never seen Luca so happy.
"Yo Jae I got a question. Aint this the school your big bro goes to?" Ty asked showing Jae a brochure and accompanying letter.
"Whoa dude! They are trying to recruit you for wrestling and bodybuilding? That's awesome! Yeah Kai goes there...you want me to ask him to show you around?"
Ty thought for a minute before saying.."its weird that they would try to recruit me for wrestling cuz I havent wrestled in a couple of years" Then he changed his mind saying "Why not? If they want me and wanna pay for me, sure!"
Jae pulled out his phone and texted Kai, as everyone congratulated Ty. Jae told Ty that Kai would text him tomorrow on when and where to meet. They then decided to head out one of their favorite pizza joints...they had a lot to celebrate.
