Levi stood there dumbfounded. Before his eyes, wearing clothes which were slightly too large and rather boyish, as well as sunglasses and flipflops, was...Lisa? But that wasn't possible, since Levi was Lisa. Then who...
"Eric?" Levi said hesitatingly, staring at the cute girl smiling at him.
"Bingo!" Eric grinned, tilting her head cutely. "Man, it took forever to get here on the bus."
"But how...why...?" Levi stuttered, unable to make sense of what he was seeing.
"Look, we just have to get your parents to believe that you're still a girl, right? So I just changed myself into Lisa for twelve hours or so. I'll go pretend to be you and splash around in the water, and they won't suspect a thing! See, I told you it'd be fine," Eric smiled proudly.
"You mean...you're a girl?!" Levi blurted out, eliciting a few odd stares from passerbys. Noticing, Eric pulled him to a side and explained.
"Look, it's just for today, since it's an emergency, and I couldn't change your file. But this should be fine, right? It's not like I have to keep up some long conversation or something, just say hi to your parents, play a bit with your brother, and then I can just splash around until it's time to go home, at which point I say I have to hit the john, meet you here, and switch back! Brilliant, right?" Eric smirked. Still stupefied, Levi nodded dumbly. Satisfied, Eric dragged Levi into the women's bathroom and locked them both in the largest stall.
"Here, didn't think I'd leave you out, did you?" Eric giggled, handing Levi a pair of male swimming trunks from a duffel bag.
"Wha..." Levi started, but Eric cut him off.
"You can't hide in the bathroom all day. Give me your bathing suit, and get rid of all your trap stuff; shove it in the bag. Stash the bag in a locker, then come on down and we can have some fun in the water," Eric kept going, not allowing Levi to jump in. "If you're worried about being recognized, I thought of that too," Eric finished, handing Levi a swim cap and goggles. Levi stood for a moment with an odd expression on his face. "What?" Eric asked, and Levi shook his head in response.
"Nothing, just wondering how I got lucky enough to find you," Levi said, smiling fondly at Eric, although he found it a bit strange to smile at his own original body. Eric grinned back.
The two completed their wardrobe swap and snuck out of the bathroom.
