At school the next day everyone met for lunch at their usual table outside. Jae looked around and finally asked "So where's Hakeem?"
"I got math with the dude and I ain't seen him." Ty said.
"Maybe he's sick..." Silas said
"Try calling him." Tristan suggested.
Jae pulled his phone out and called Hakim's number.
"Sup ladies, Harry here!"
"Harry?" Jae asked, confused.
"Yeah...you deaf?" Harry responded annoyed.
Jae confirmed the number
"Look I don't know what your problem is homo, but if I find out who this is, I'm gonna kick you ass" he said angerly.
Jae could here him yell through the phone and in the area. He looked around and had a look of horror as he hung up the phone.
"What is it babe?" Park asked
"It's Hakeem...someone changed him into that" he said, his voice slightly shaking as he pointed to one of the football players, who bore a remarkable resemblance to Hakeem, but was white and bulked up.
After everyone saw, they immediately started to accuse Kai. Jae defended him saying he had helped his little brother with his homework and he was with him all night.
"I can back that up. I've been tracking Kai, if he had touched the program again, I would have been alerted." Park said.
"Why can we remember Hakim? Shouldn't we only remember Harry? Luca wondered.
"I don't like this. I don't like my cr...friends being changed. I even changed the settings so if I do change someone they know what's going on." Jae said
They spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what was going on. Jae decided to skip last period to try to figure things out. The first place he went was the locker room, since that was where Hakeem had heard the voice. He looked in the shower for anything out of the ordinary and found nothing. Next he tried the locker room. As he searched the lockers, he heard a voice "Poor poor Jae, trying to take care of his crew. Forgotten who he really is, if others only knew." It taunted him.
"Who is this?!?! I will find you!!! I will get Hakeem back!" He yelled, pounded on one of the lockers. The bell rang indicating it was the end of the day. Annoyed by the fact that he couldn't find answers, he hit the locker again. As he sat down on the bench, a football rolled off the top of the locker, almost hitting him the head but he caught it. He hated football, or US football as it was known everywhere else. Just as he was about to put it back, he heard his friends and teammates coming. Then he realized he couldn't let go of it and saw it begin to glow. He realized too late what was happening and yelled "Son of a bitch!"
