Seamus went down the side of the mountain and into the forest. He could always go through the mountains the next day.
He walked into the forest and kept going. Oddly, he couldn't find the path. Maybe things had changed since daytime. Seamus wouldn't be surprised, as he had seen how things had changed when he was attacked by Finn.
Seamus wandered through the trees aimlessly, looking for something to do. He filled his pack with food and water until he had no more space. He found that he didn't need to eat or drink—when he should be getting hungry or thirsty, his pack slowly emptied so that he never felt full but was never hungry or parched. He also never had to relieve himself.
After a while, Seamus heard someone moving and crept closer to the sound. Eventually he saw a lone person marching through the trees and Seamus crouched down behind a large tree root. After a few seconds, the person stopped and turned to Seamus, somehow sensing him, and shouted, "You there! I challenge you to a duel!"
Immediately, the world shifted. Instead of crouching behind a tree root, Seamus was standing in the middle of a field, again surrounded by skyscraper-sized trees. The moon was, again, full, and high in the sky. Seamus had a red glow, while his opponent had a blue one.
Suddenly, the world froze. Seamus couldn't move, and his opponent wasn't moving either. The sound of the wind in the trees stopped. Seamus could see that he had three choices—fight in his body, or fight in Finn's body, or fight in the wolf-creature's body. Which to choose…
