While the Fourth of July fell within the IAC, there was no reason NOT to celebrate it. But there were many different ways to celebrate he holiday.
---
As it turned out, many visitors to the IAC had brought fireworks with them, or at least money to buy fireworks. While many Animalians didn't like the loud explosions, one entrepreneur came up with a genius way to allow Animalians to enjoy the fireworks. He used old memory foam that could be easily cut into different sizes and could be used as earplugs by the Animalians.

Independence Day was also the start of a new musical play that dramatized the events that lead to the American Revolution, the events IN the Revolution itself, and the events that lead to the ratification of the US Constitution. Each act in the musical ended with one Schoolhouse Rock song.
The first act, called Rebellion, ended with the song "No More Kings." The second act, called Revolution, ends with the song "The Shot Heard 'Round the World." The final act, called Constitution, ended with the song called "The Preamble."
The general plan of it was to help both small children and Animalians help understand the country they were born in, figuratively and literally in some case. It also helped Animalians understand the natural resentment toward the government in general that many humans were seemingly born with.

Miss Vivian's Intimacy Boutique was having one big surge in business, not only with Animalians but with the visitors as well. She had gotten into the spirit with patriotic-themed lingere, but often turned a cold shoulder to those who came into her store for goofing, and not shopping.
---
There was also a small "Welcoming Ceremony" to celebrate the double-dosed upliftings of the three Northern White Rhinoceroses and welcome them to Animalia. There were also a number of pop stars doing performances as part of the IAC. One unexpected star was Ariel, the lake trout that was the first uplifted as part of the now famous Animalia Aquatica program. She was inspired to become a music artist by Canary Diamond, but had taken the stage name Aqua Marina. She generated a lot of attention for her, not only by wearing a seashell-style bikini in her performances, but also because all of her performances took place with her completely submerged, showing how she was not only capable of breathing underwater, but talking and singing as well. Her very first song, called "Ichthyology", was seemingly a collection of random fish facts set to rhyme with every two facts, but fit the theme of a study of many different fish.

One final thing that was done during the Independence Day celebration was a display of what was called "The World's Greatest Magic." Parts of it was to entertain the masses, but it was also to show magic and illusions to Animalians. There were also a number of stage magic practitioners mingling with everyone and showing off minor tricks. Also, there were many different magic kits available so that any Animalians who wanted to learn magic were able to do so.

One thing many Animalians didn't get was the use of music and enormous fireworks together, but apparently it was a big thing and an American tradition. It also helped out with what was termed "The World's Largest Independence Day Picnic." The picnic was more like an outdoor all-you-can-eat buffet, but it was still fun, and it was something to add to next year's IAC celebration.
