There were many different news stations, such as CNN, present at the IAC, both as coverage and as interviews with members of Animalia, new and founding. Clara maintained the Media Iron Law in all cases, but many interviews destroyed the misconception about Animalia being a loose den of sex and vice.

"So you and Jason are now a couple, so to speak?" Asked the reporter who was interviewing James and Brandy. A diamond ring sparkled on Brandy's hand, about one whole carat.
"Yes, we are." Confirmed Brandy, holding James' hand in a way that showed it.
"And you underwent Project Phoenix to cure yourself of severe anxiety? What was it like?" Continued the reporter.
"It was like..." began Brandy, remembering the sensation, "... Sinking into a warm bath while getting a deep tissue massage. All of my worries were melting away into new confidence."
"Also, what was it like meeting the patriarch of your new boyfriend's clan?" Continued the reporter.
"It was a little nerve wracking, to be honest." Said Brandy, trembling a little at the memory, "While he and his mate examined me, I felt a little bit of my old anxiety returning. But when they approved of me, I felt like my new self again."

"First off, Anne, congratulations on your victory in the baton pass." Said another reporter as Anne Cumbertin walked into the room being used for interviews still wearing her sports uniform, but complimented by her new gold medal.
"I have never been so happy in my life in winning." Said Anne, a tear shining in her eye in her happiness.
"What are you planning to do after the IAC ends?" Asked the reporter.
"While I'm still planning on maintaining my new beauty," answered Anne, "I'm planning to train to be a hairdresser."

"The people who keep records of Project Phoenix report that one of the major reasons for becoming part of Project Phoenix is to end their dependence on drugs such as heroin or opioid painkillers. Others come to be cured of terminal illnesses such as cancer or HIV." Said one reporter, doing a story on Project Phoenix. "But in some cases, it is to determine the effects of the Virus on conditions such as dwarfism or gigantism."

"What are you planning to do now that you don't have any heart problems?" Asked another reporter doing an interview with Lenny, now holding the record of "World's Largest, non-megafauna, Animalian".
"While I wasn't able to join this year's IAC Games," said Lenny, his new certificate from Guinness World Records sitting on the table between them, "I will be doing the Bodybuilding competition in next year's IAC Games."
"Really?" Asked the reporter, surprised and somehow not surprised, "Do you know what class you'll be in yet?"
"No, not really." Replied Lenny, honestly.

One reporter jumped at the chance to interview some of the newest members of Animalia Aquatica, especially Electra, the newly uplifted electric eel.
"What's one of the newest things you noticed after being uplifted?" Asked the reporter as Electra had a number of sensors to her skin.
"All the colors and light." Answered Electra, indicating her new eyes, which seemed to be a hybrid of human and snake, "Usually I have to sense things with my electric field. But now I can see things as what they really are."
"Are you still able to use your electric senses?" Asked the reporter as the scientist asked her to flex her electric organ.
"Oh, yes." Replied Electra, after a bit, which included her flexing her electric organ. "It really helps with dark places." The scientist reported that that casual flex generated 300 watts of electricity. When she really pushed it, it was able to get up to 600 watts. One clever trick was her using her "powers" to light up a lightbulb.

In general, many of the reports and/or interviews were positive, thanks to Clara and her Media Iron Law. Also, the coverage of the Games helped show what many Animalians were capable of.
