Joey was always the impulsive type, do first, think if you absolutely have to but much much later. He decided to bull rush you and try to knock you into the fountain to coat you in pop because... well he's Joey.
Thankfully, he gets this stupid evil grin on his face and by the time he started to rush you, you were already moving out of line with the fountain. Once he saw that you were wise to him he stopped...
"You said it can shoot out other drinks?" you asked.
"Yeah."
"Well how do you change it, or does it just happen?"
"Oh, you just touch the fountain and ask it to change to a different kind of drink, Ill show you." Joey walked up and put his hand on the cool stone, "Hey fountain, could you please change to orange soda?"
Immediately the nozzles stopped spraying. The level of cola was going down and a few seconds later I saw several large drains had opened up. There was a gross buildup on the bottom, Apparently bugs like pop fountains in the forest too. The nozzles started spaying again and out came water, the top of the fountain started rotating and the fountain cleaned itself, washing all the nasty stuff away. There were even smaller jets inside the fountain getting the entire basin back to sparkling. As soon as it was clean the nozzles began to spit out a bright orange beverage and the drains closed. This whole process took less than two minutes and within another two the fountain was full and flowing with orange soda instead of cola.
"Wow!" You were amazed. "Self cleaning, voice activated, and multiple types of soda, this must have cost a fortune, especially out here in the middle of nowhere. What other drinks can it do?"
"Oh, any." Joey casually said while playing with a stick.
"You mean any pop, and obviously water, right?"
"No, it can do any beverage, its magic." Joey was practicing his baseball skills with a rock.
"Magic?" I asked incredulously
"Yeah, I was thirsty and wished I would have a never-ending supply of whatever I wanted to drink. Then I just knew I had to go somewhere, so I started walking and ended up here. I somehow knew what the fountain was and how to use it."
"You're pulling my leg. There's no such thing as magic. Who did you get to help you set this up?"
"Try the orange soda, it's real. My parents wouldn't buy me that much pop just to have me fill a fountain with it to fool you. Or ask the fountain to make a drink that isn't pop. Orange juice, Lemonade..." Joey said while trying to climb a tree.
Taking him up on his challenge you walked up and said, "Fountain, please give us some cold milk." Just like before it cleaned itself and quickly began filling with milk. Not being deterred, "Fountain, I know I said milk but I meant milkshake; chocolate milkshake please." The cleaning process began and before I knew it, ice cold chocolate shake was oozing out of the fountain.
Your head was spinning. This was amazing. You reached your hand out and tasted the milkshake, it was rich, creamy, ice cold and delicious. Something made you think that the only reason the cola wasn't as good was because it was cycling overnight. The fresh stuff would probably be equally amazing.
