the good old fashioned lay an egg method,but because
dragon dna is such a potent mutagen when in contact with gold
by turning other creatures into a dragon.
Usually by pouring dragons blood into a gold cup and having the human or other
beastie ingest the highly mutagenic potion.
A variation of the cursed dragons hoard.
Naturally in the past knights objected to having themselves and other humans
turned into big scaly reptiles and for a while it had looked like the creatures
would be hunted into extinction.
However dragons can be just as sentient,emotional and rational as humans
and for the last thousand years dragons had learned to suppress
those dragonish wild instincts somewhat
and learned to work within human society.

is actually run by dragons forr dragons.
So since the male dragons never tended to stay put but fly about as they pleased
it was a matriarchal society of dragonesses
that was running the DoNDR.
Three of Officer June Cleavers dragoness partners had been flying about looking for a wandering male
when they decided to pay their human partner a visit.
And the three of them came in to find a green dragoness,covered in bits and patches of
human clothing,in Officer Cleavers
backyard.
Obviously a transformed human who'd somehow got him/her self
loaded up with potent dragoness blood
from a gold cup.
If Rick had been turning into just another
annoying male dragon the three dragonesses\would probably stayed out of the affair.
However this was clearly a formerly human female dragon
who needed some help retaining her rational sentient emotional
dragoness mind,and so
the three girls loaded up their blowguns with the necessary
medicines and stuff and shot
Rick with three fairly sizeable darts.
By this point Rick was just on the verge of starting to breath fire
and her slitted reptillian eys were all aglow in organes and reds.
The treatment took care of that.
Rick slowly returned to her senses,and realized
she was staring down her length dragons snout and had been chuffing away
as the blast furnace inside her had been about
to come aflame.
As the smoke died away from her nostrils the medicated female felt those
wild urges slip back under the surface.
Rick became some degree Rick again.
A horrified dragoness who looked down apon a rather long neck,wings,green scales
and spiny long coiling dragons tail.
"I'm a dragon" she roared in shock,stating
a obvious fact of life.
Martha,the older of the 3 DoNDR employees said
"Notice girls,how the former human now female dragon
states the obvious.Usually transformed humans now demand a potion that
will make them human again"
Said Ignatief,the youngest of the three
"Why is that,Martha?"
