Genie had heard Colin wish that the new member of his harem was not a friend of his. By the logic of a dependable genie, she concluded the spell was meant for a stranger. The blonde ditz hopped around excitedly in her lamp as she watched the smoke whiz through the air in search of a target.
"Oh boy, oh boy! I never get to use these kinds of spells. I wonder what surprises my master will experience." Genie chirped.
Meanwhile, the pink smoke cloud shot through the air like a vapoureous bullet, unseen by the populace in it's quest to inflict the harem spell on an unwitting person. It knew the magic well, and the spell initiated once they were hit.
First, the victim would become a woman if they weren't already one. Then, her curves would grow to fit their body type and their form would reflect their personality (a female version of it if the target was male). And then thoughts of the harem's owner would flow into their heads and loop almost endlessly with the mantra of the harem, as affitted for the lamp's current weilder.

I am a beautiful lady.
Colin is my master.
I want to please him.
I want to love him.
I want to give him all I can with all of my heart.
I will join my sisters in his harem.
I will do as my sisters do.
My name is (name) and I belong to Colin's Harem."
It spots a suitable target to modify in the streets below. This person walked into an alley when suddenly pink smoke engulfed them.

Colin tried to not trip on his mega dong as he went in the freezer for some ice cream.
The doorbell rang.
"Oh girls, you're back!" Colin said.
His harem looked at him.
"Colin, I think someone knows about our.... little connection." Samantha said.
The girls parted to reveal the new harem member he created. Colin looked at the girl walking in from the shadows and noted a distinct....
