Jake looked back at the fairy princess costume and remembered how much Sharon loved fairies. Every Halloween since she was 6, she'd dress as a fairy, even now at age 20, she was still into it. Taking the costume off the rack, the dress had the classic floral motif to it; large, puffed sleeves, a tight bodice with a flower brooch set with a glittering gemstone, and a wide skirt all made of various flower petals of pastel pink and purple colors. What was really striking was how it felt like genuine flower petals.
The matching shoes, much like the dress were made of authentic feeling flower petals with thorns for high-heels. The included butterfly wings were equally remarkable. They were huge, with an almost organic feel to them. The pastel rainbow of colors seemed to shimmer in the light, like he'd seen in close-ups of real butterfly wings.
"It's perfect!" Jake shouted, but it needed some accessories. As if guided by some unseen hand, he found himself in a jewelry and accessory aisle. There, he found a tiara made of woven vines, decorated with flowers that had jewels set in the center, and a large flower with a jeweled center resembling a wand; both of which felt like they were made from genuine plants.
Jake gathered everything that went with the dress. "Sharon's going to flip when she sees this!"
It was settled, then. Jake took the dress, along with the accessories, and looked around for someone to ring up the purchase, passing by the dressing room again as he did.
