Jake was curious. As much as he liked being a boy, he also wondered what it would be like to be a girl. Jake clicked "Gender" on his profile and got a simple Male or Female selector box. He clicked on female and waited for something to happen to the image on the screen. Quickly he saw a green "GO" button light up just underneath the rotating model of his figure. After clicking it, his computer whirred around for a moment, before a new dialogue box popped up, asking him "Adjust reality to match?" Jake clicked yes and waited.
Just like the last change he felt a wave of tingling throughout his body, which made him stand up in a bit of shock. Then he felt a slight pulling sensation all over himself. When he looked down the floor seemed to stretch away from him ever so slightly. He glanced up at the mirror in the corner of the room, and confirmed that he appeared taller by an inch or so. The tingling continued to intensify, and he watched in wonder and curiosity as his mousy brown hair began to grow longer until it flowed down to the middle of his back. His face began to morph ever so slightly, his cheekbones elevating and his nose shrinking slightly. He looked down at his arms, watching as they became a little slimmer, while his hands shrunk slightly in response. A pulling sensation in his groin quickly followed by a strange feeling of emptiness between his legs. A quick check down the front of his shorts confirmed that he...was now a she.
As this fact began to filter its way through his, now her brain, he watched as his cloths seemed to ripple a bit. He watched as his shorts seemed to be getting shorter up his legs while his shirt seemed to be getting longer down his body while becoming brighter in color . In several seconds, his shirt had converted into a sleeveless light blue sundress with the skirt falling below his knees while his shorts have disappeared entirely with his underwear becoming a pair of panties.
Finally, he watched as the air in his room seemed to ripple. The clothes in his closet changed, with a few more dresses mixing with some feminine T-shirts hanging there. The color of his walls changed from an off-white to a light peach color. He raced over to his dresser, which had also changed slightly, and opened his underwear drawer, just in time to see his underwear finish morphing into girl's panties. All and all, his room now looked like it belonged to a ten year old girl.
"Whoa, " he, or she said as she looked at herself in the mirror. Jake now looked like a completely normal, if not cute young girl. His voice taking on a higher, girlish pitch.
Jake glanced back at the computer on his desk, and saw that the rotating photo model showed that he was indeed now a girl, likely just a version of himself if he had been born female. He then looked up at the text box with all of his information and saw that it to had changed:

Jacob...now Jennifer...or Jenny for short, sat back in her chair shocked at what had just transpired. Reality had altered to seemingly make it so that he had always been a girl. If she thought long and hard about it, she was convinced that she could remember things about this life too. Playing with dolls, learning to cook with her mother. She shook her head as she thought of such things, and wondered if she should change back immediately, see what this life held for her...or change something else about herself.
