"For Nature! For the Ecos!" Someone shouted.
Harold was at a stall, it's back to another one facing the center. It allowed him to somewhat see what was happening in the grassy center. A young brunette, little hargard looking, through off a a trench coat she was wearing and stood on top of one of the tables. On her person were various cylindrical devices, and she seemed to be holding an object into the air with a red button on top. She pressed it.
Weird, green materials released into the area, with sparkly shiny objects shining in the sun but surrounded by a green mist, all with this ear-grating metallic sound. The whole center area was immediately covered in it, with it fastly spreading elsewhere, including Harold now covered in the mist.
At the same time, the changes were happening. The clothes on the Eco-brunette immediately fell loose with a dog-shaped object struggling with it. A black lab with a very male sheath appear from the clothes, whining and barking from the chaos that was happening around it, not sure what was going on.
It was a crazy sight to behold. Everyone in the center turned into anything you could imagine. Wildlife from earth, common household pets, and even various fauna from the planets mankind have since encountered. Even stuff that had gone extinct. All this within less then a second. Needless to say, if the sight and sound of the explosion didn't cause chaos and panic, what happened afterward did.
Animals immediately attacking or stampeding around each other, showing that they had already "Gone Native". A particular asian elephant and some sort of large creature similar to a t-rex were causing the most ruckus. People who weren't immediately changed were running in all directions, mostly away from the center, but plenty just in a blind panic and unsure where the explosion had happened. Regardless, they were all changing, although in various ways and depending on where they were at the time. Harold saw a overweight woman with a horses head, eye placement and all, running by. A crab claw seemed to explode from the tatters of a man's arm. A lady closer to the explosion was trying to run away, although an apparent change of her turning into a slug seemed to come in visible pulses, slowing starting from her legs and Harold could easily guess the whole process would take about a minute.
Harold wasn't exactly standing around just eyeing this. As mentioned before, this really only just happened in a few seconds. He had half a mine to get away from as far center as possible, remembering to try and get to emergency crews as fast as possible and hoping he was far enough to avoid "Going Native", at least immediately. He knew no matter what, he was doomed to change.
In a few strides, Harold could feel an odd feeling about his body, growing more instense. He was changing...
