Looking around the park, Katie noticed two kids that were separated from the rest of the kids in the playground and are sitting on the bench. The first one is a young girl of seven of Irish decent with fiery red hair that’s done up in two long pigtails, freckles on her face, and light blue eyes. She was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans with suspenders around her shoulders and a pair of female loafers. Next to her is an eight-year-old Caucasian boy with rugged brown hair, darker brown eyes. He was wearing a red T-shirt with black Autobot insignia on the front, a pair of shorts, and pair of sneakers with the red Autobot insignia on the sides. She looked on and could tell that those two were friends as they look like they needed to be alone for some reason. So she looked on and wondered what they were up to.
One the other side of the bench both the girl and boy sat cross legged as they looked away. The boy wondered why she wanted to speak to him alone. So he turned and asked, “Becky? Why did you bring me here? Is there a reason why you want to speak to me alone?”
The girl, whose name is Becky remained quiet and wondered how to approach this? She didn’t want to speak to him with the other kids, because they will tease her. Which is why she wanted to take her to this bench, so they can be far away from the kids in the playground. Gathering up the courage, she turned to him and asked, “Well, Richie, I was wondering something that has been bothering me as of late. You see… I wanted to ask… Have you ever kissed a girl?”
Richie, who’s whole name is Richard, turned to her and was surprised by that statement. “Kissed a girl?!” he asked her, “Becky, why did you ask such a question as that? It’s not like you.”
Becky looked down and felt a little ashamed in asking that. But she started to explain why she asked that question. “Sorry if you felt offended.” She apologized before explaining herself, “But I wanted to know if you like kissing girls. See, my mommy and daddy watched a romance movie at home and I caught a glimpse of two people kissing each other in that movie. I thought it looked really neat and wondered if I could kiss you. But when I spoke to the girls in the school, they laugh and teased me, telling me that you have cooties and I would get sick. I don’t know if I would believe them or not, but I’m conflicted in kissing you or not. If you are not interested in kissing me, then it’s okay…”
Richie heard her and felt sorry for her. She was curious about kissing a boy and him kissing a girl. But when the girls talking about him having cooties, he understood why she’s hesitant. So she eased her troubled mind and said, “Becky, you don’t have to feel sorry. You are just curious about what kissing me is like. To be honest, I never kissed a girl. Guess it’s just me trying to distance myself with those girls. You on the other hand, you are the closest friend I ever had, ever since we met in preschool. And don’t worry about those girls and the whole ‘cootie’ thing. I’m sure that they made it up to separate me from you. So if you want to kiss me, then I’ll let you do it.”
Becky heard the whole thing and looked to him with a tear coming down her cheek as if she was about to cry. “You mean it?” she asked him.
Richie nodded and then said, “In fact, why don’t you kiss me right now? Just lightly tapped me on the lips. I’m certain that it’s nothing to get all nervous about.”
Becky was turning red in the face and wasn’t expecting that from him. He wants to let her kiss him on the lips lightly. That is something she never expects. Still, she can’t let him hanging and she rubbed her arm and said, “Okay…” So the two on crossed their legs and got close to each other slowly nearing their faces to get their first kiss.
As all of that was happening, Katie looked on and thought that it was sweet. Looking at the two getting their first kiss and trying to reach first base at such a young age. She’s certain that the two will be a lovely couple when they grow up. And that’s when it got to her. Those two will be a couple, yes, but if she can grow them up to a couple, then maybe she might see what their future would be. And with the ring on her finger, she can make it work. But the main question is how? How will she make them grow?
By the time they were getting close to kiss, an idea came to Katie and decided to make the wish into a much different perspective. Getting her ring close to her face, she closed her eyes and silently made her wish.
“I wish that when the two children I see on the bench kiss, their bodies, minds, will grow while their clothing and reality change along with their bodies. The two will not be aware of what happened and will live their new lives. Once they are done kissing, they will stop aging and won’t age again if they kiss again.”
By the time she made that wish, the ring glowed and magic took affect. Katie looked to the two kids and saw nothing yet, but that would soon change when the two start kissing.
Meanwhile, the two kids slowly get closer and closer, ready to have their first kiss. They were nervous, indeed, but they knew that they are close and will do the kiss just once. They soon planted their lips together and felt the first time they kissed. By the time they did that, they felt a surge of electricity coursing through their bodies and never felt anything so intense. Fortunately, that feeling was gone and didn’t know what just happened. But it felt really good as they continued to kiss. What they didn’t know, is that the ring’s magic has started to take effect and the two were beginning to grow.
Katie watched on and could see that their bodies were steadily growing into their double digits with their clothes changing as they age. She soon wondered how long until they stop kissing? So she watched them grow until they stopped at…
