Looking at the line of people, she noticed the elderly couple that was waiting in line and were next. The first one is an woman in her early seventies with perm up gray and white hair and wearing a long dress over her plump body and sagging breasts with a pearl necklace, and pump shoes with a plump face with dark circles on around her eyes. The other is a man in his late seventies with balding hair salt and pepper hair and wearing a flashy suit under his lean stature and was rugged with a beard on his face. The two where Walter and Beatrice as they’ve been married for a long time and knew each other since they were kids.
Looking to the movies they would like to watch, Beatrice looked to the choices and wasn’t sure. “I don’t know honey,” she said, “All these choices are too difficult to choose. Most of which are not for us.”
Walter turned to her and told her it is fine. “Don’t be such a worry wart, Beatrice. There’s nothing to do in the house since I retire and I might as well watch something in theaters. After all, we do need to get out of our comfort zone and watching one of these movies would make us feel better.”
Beatrice sighed and decided to let him choose. “Fine… Do what you want… Sometimes wonder why you want to watch these films.”
Katie heard them and could tell that they have their own opinions. Sure, going to the movies is the best way in living through retirement, but most of the movies are too young for their taste. Knowing that they are too old for any movie, Katie decided to change their ages, but in a different way. Closing her eyes, she silently wishes to change the couple.
‘I wish that the elderly couple next in line will regress physically and mentally, but not until they pick whatever movie they want to see. When the movie starts, they will begin to regress into a certain age demographic the movie is for. When it’s finished, the couple will become the very age they seen the movie.’
The ring glowed as the wish was granted. By the time she made the wish, the elderly couple moved ahead as the Walter approached the ticket counter and said, “Hi there, two tickets please.”
The usher looked to him and asked, “And which movie you would like to see?”
Walter looked up to the choices and wondered which film would be perfect for him and his wife. Looking to his options, he chooses…
