Another part of the IAC was the Martial Arts competition. It wasn't anything too formal, just displays of mixed martial arts that played to each Animalian's different strengths, as well as matching up two different Animalians to display their Arts against each other.
There was also a showing of how movies, especially live action ones, were made, both for Animalians and the visitors. There were displays of miniatures, special effects makeup, computer tech, fabrication, and other ways of using special effects to achieve a desired effect in the movies.
One unexpected feature was how stunts were done differently in different countries:
---
"I received a lot of my training at the Peking Opera School in Hong Kong." Answered Mr. Shikamatsu to one reporter's question after he did a particularly difficult stunt rather easily. "Children are taught from a young age to accomplish the kinds of stunts desired in Hong Kong action movies."

As part of a project for the IAC, and to demonstrate how a movie was actually made, the Green Glacier Adventure Clan and their girlfriends decided to help create a small movie for the IAC based off of a combination of TMNT, 'Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor', and the 'Icewind Dales' trilogy and subsequent series, and bolstered by information from their Dungeons and Dragons books. The plot line was actually quite simple: eight young turtles vow vengeance against the forces that destroyed their (eastern-style) monastery, but the wider world does not easily accept, welcome, or help them, forcing them to rely on their wits, their weapons and spells, and the ghost of their master in order to survive.
What they didn't know was that the movie would make its way to Hollywood and get them in a full length feature film, but that wasn't until next summer. Fortunately, making the movie as part of the IAC would get them plenty of time to practice.

Peter was launched by a small steam catapult into a prop designed to look like a small cabinet that would break apart on contact. The scene was designed to look like he was thrown across the room by an ogre in the small movie. While his shell absorbed most of the impact, and the break-apart-prop did it's job, he would still be sore for a few minutes.
"I'm glad that my martial arts training lets me do my own stunts." was all that he would say about it in response to another reporter's questions.
