You were just sitting at your desk, waiting for class to start. The teacher is late; the students around you were chatting with eachother. You absentmindedly feel the bottom of you desk... which is a bad idea, with how much gum people put under there. But... you also feel an odd wooden extrusion? You pull it and feel it detach from the plastic table. You take a look at it: It's somekind of talisman. The emblem has a distinct native American feel to it, but you can't place it any more specific. You turn the amulet around to look at its back side.
"Allowed to do Anything" is written on this side. The text looks much newer than the emblem on the other side, as if some kind carved it out using dull scissors. Suddenly, the amulet starts glowing. You look around, wondering if anyone else is seeing this, but no one is paying attention to you. You look back at the amulet and see it has gone even brighter. It is becoming hard to look at, it is getting hot in your hand. A flash follows, and suddenly, the amulet is.... gone?
It has disappeared completely. But there is some trace left. A mark shows itself on your right hand, as though it was tattooed on. The emblem from the talisman. No one is paying any attention to you. You are not sure what just happened. "Allowed to do Anything"? What does that mean...
You look at the girl next to you, who is taking her books out of her bags. Trying to deduce the magical meaning of the amulet, you figure you'd throw something out there.
"Am I allowed to cheat on the exam for this subject?" You ask the girl. She looks up and stares at you for a second. You are not sure, but it looks as though her eye color changed for a split second. "Yeah, of course, you're allowed to do anything, right?" the girl answers.
"Wouldn't the teachers mind?" You ask her. "Probably," she answers, "but it's not like they could stop you?"
"Am I allowed to give you a hug?" You ask the girl. You don't really know who she is. You only just started the school year and are in almost a completely new class. "Why are you asking all of these questions? You're allowed to do Anything," the girl responds, her eyes seemingly glowing again as she speaks that final word.
"Is that so..."
