"Aww, really? That's too--" The girl gasped, placing a delicately manicured hand over her mouth. "Ooh! Ooh!"
"What's up?" The man in uniform asked, noting just how sharp her eyes suddenly glinted.
"You said you wanted to be pretty, right? Like a girl?" He felt himself blush under her piercing blue eyes. "Come with me!" Kitty stood up, still holding tight to her new friend's hand.
"I dunno..." He glanced over his shoulder, still unsure of his friends' location. It was pretty unlikely that this girl could have malicious intent, but it was still suspicious, and she seemed to have a drastic plan.
"We'll only be gone for, um..." She tapped her fingers one at a time and muttered small numbers under her breath. "Thirty minutes?"
He checked his phone for messages and battery life and shrugged. The sun was just barely setting, and, admittedly, if anyone could help him with make-up then it'd be this girl. She practically oozed femininity and didn't judge.
"Sure." He stood up as she squealed happily. "Where to next?"
"This way!" She stood up a little taller, but kept up her sexy, swaying walk as they stepped off the beach party and back into the city. "It's suuuuper close!"
Moving faster in three inch heels than one would assume possible, she babbled on about a dress shop a block away. Or... at least, he think she did. Most of it was buried so far under "likes" and "ums" and other airheaded filler that he just couldn't tell.
"Okay," Kitty stopped sharp. "So," She put a finger to her lip and he took a minute to admire her curvy body and girly stance. "We're gonnnaaa..."
All around the sun kissed street were closed shops, but, before he could say anything, she made a cute little gasping noise took off to a classy looking place three doors down.
He took it slow, glancing over his shoulder to make sure no one else was around. Not that anyone would care or recognize him, but it was more habit than logic. And with a deep breath, he stepped in.
"--maigawd the outfit's soooo pretty, and there's this super fun costume party right over there and I met this guy--he's super cute--and he wants ta--oh!" Kitty waved from across the shop, a couple nice looking dresses already in hand. "Over here!"
"... Hey." The man greeted, trying his best to keep eye contact with the attendant and Kitty.
"He wants to be pretty like a girl." The blonde blurted, taking his hand and pulling up a chair and a full length mirror.
"I'll get the make-up." The assistant said with a smile.
"We'll get started on picking a dress!" Kitty grabbed his hand and dragged him into place before the mirror. "Okay, so, I got a buncha styles since, like, I don't know what you're gonna wanna wear."
"Alright! U-Umm...!" He laughed nervously, cutting off Kitty before she could continue. "I-I'm not... I'm not sure I can...!"
"Hey." Her voice was soft and sweet as she pulled up two chairs. "It's just... A costume for a party, alright?"
Almost all at once, he noticed so much more about her earnest smile, her soft blue eyes, and her warm heart. But he didn't say it out loud, because it sounded stupid. Though, she seemed to notice something change in his face and smiled that dazzling smile.
Turning back to her selection, he found quite a selection. It didn't take him long to decide, though, for he knew pretty well what he wanted.
