BattleBods was a simple card game that never took off in it's initial release date back in the eighties. The rules were simple: Each person had a deck of however many cards they wanted or owned. In the beginning, each person picked 5 cards to choose from. These cards each listed a transformation and a power level. The transformation was the punishment for losing the round. There was three types of transformation: Mind, Body, and Life. Mind cards change an opponents mind and personality (ex: a bimbo mind card makes someone believe they are a bimbo). Body cards change an opponents physical appearance (ex: a bimbo body card changes the opponent into a physical bimbo). Life cards are the most powerful, accompanying for both Mind and body cards (ex: a bimbo life card gives the opponent a bimbo body and the mindset that they are and have always been a bimbo). The power level were the deciding factor of who wins the round. The card with the higher power beats the other card and gets to transform the loser (ex: a weight gain card with 9 beats a gender swap card with 6, and the loser gains weight). If the power level are equal, both transformations occur. The power levels also dictated the power of transformation (ex: a breast growth 4 makes your breasts grow less than a breast growth 9). The game is over when either one player runs out of cards, or one player forfeits. If the player runs out of cards, the other one is the winner, and all five transformations in their hand happens to the loser. If a player forfeits, they have to give the cards in their hand up to the other person, who keeps them. In forfeits, the one who forfeits does not have to undergo the five changes in the others hand, as opposed to running out of cards, which in that case they would. The game was never popular in he eighties, but when re released in 2005, they took off as many people would want these cards for their own reasons.
Brian was at the mall on his 16th birthday looking for these cards. They were rated 16+, so he could now get the cards and play with his girlfriend who had gotten a set a year ago. The GameStop closest to the mall entrance had an entire shelf dedicated to these cards. With the 100 dollars he had for his birthday, he bought a starter deck of 50 cards ($50) and 9 booster packs with ten in each pack ($10 per pack). Once he had purchased the cards, he and his girlfriend Ashley began opening the cards. Brian got a lot of body and just as many mind, but was upset to find he didn't get a lot of life card, which were the most powerful. He had even gotten some wild cards, cards that beat every other power level and could do any transformation he wanted. Ashley was sorting his cards into mind, body, and life. "Wow, you got a lot of good cards, Brian." Ashley said, admiring the neat stacks on the table. "Yeah, their pretty cool." Brian replied, scooping up and shuffling the cards best he could. Then he gave his girlfriend an evil grin. "Wanna play?" Ashley nodded, reaching into her bag for her travel deck, which had over a hundred cards in it. The game started as each put their decks to the side and drew 5 cards from the top. Brian had gotten some good cards, but so had Ashley. Scanning his cars thoroughly, he picked a card and placed it face down on the table. Ashley did the same momentarily. "On the count of three." Ashley said, hand on her card. "Three, two, ONE!" The two flipped over their chosen cars to reveal that...
