Ben and Jen Matthews made it to the large building that was Bellon Academy. There were other students dressed in the same uniforms as the two siblings, all heading to their classes. This was where Ben and his sister part ways; his first class was advanced algebra, the boy's favorite class, while Jen's first class was English.
Ben arrived in the classroom and sat in the first row with a perfect posture and his hands neatly folded on his desk, head facing directly in front of him.
As other students started to enter the classroom and take their seats, anticipation for today's lesson welled up inside the studious 16-year-old as he awaited his brilliant teacher to start.
Meanwhile Jen walked into her classroom as well, siting just as Ben did, also sitting in the front row.
As the day started both children dutifully turned in their homework and did their assignments for their respective classes. In other words: the day started as it always did.
But after the bell for their first class rang and the students flooded the halls, making their way to their next periods, something happened...
