As the minutes ticked by, you rode Jessie deeper and deeper into wherever it was you were going, after passing through a large field you were now in a more secluded pathway through the woodlands next to the town, and keeping a steady pace.
The weather was calm, if cloudy, and a little on the cool side yet right now you felt rather hot, and were sweating a bit. And every few moments you had to take a hand off the reins in order to scratch at the itches that were worsening along your limbs and torso. On top of that you felt…tight…almost like your clothes had shrunk.
“Whoa there, easy girl.” You try to calm Jessie down with some good solid rubbing across her neck as she jittered and whickered briefly. “You’ve got nothing to worry about.” You add softly, though your voice has deepened significantly.
It takes several minutes of this, but eventually, she calms down again and you resume your ride in silence, if still having problems with how tight your clothes were. Had they shrunk somehow?
More time passed with nothing but you and Jessie enjoying the sights, and smells. But by the time you made it to a smallish stream, you were just unable to keep the itching and tightness off your mind. Pulling to a halt next to it, you dismount and tie the reins to a nearby tree as you take a few stretches to work off some stiffness from the over-an-hour you’d spent in the saddle.
Which with your greater size was enough to cause a cascade failure of your clothes that tore away in chunks until there was nothing left on you.
Revealing a body that was a bizarre mix of human and horse.
Still bipedal, but hoofed feet - on top of having added another eighteen inches to stand at seven-foot-five - the fingernails on you still-dexterous hands black, cream-yellow fur with white mane and tail, that same white at the ends of your arms and legs. And a large equine head sitting atop a thick, chiselled body as you finished your stretches, and didn’t feel so cooked anymore.
“Well,” You begin as you take the reins in your hands again. “I suppose it’s time to start heading back now.”
Had you taken a proper look at Jessie, you would have seen the despair in her eyes as she let you lead her.
