The old woman wandered through the busy streets. She wore a black veil over her face, her familiar, a crow, sat on her shoulders. She needed someone, a perfect candidate for her spell. The streets were full of people, all rushing along. Merchants yelled in the streets, urchins stole coins from noblemens pockets. None could withstand her spell.
The king had entrusted the old witch with a task. She needed to find someone, and turn them into a beautiful princess. His son was young, handsome and honorable. He would lead the entire kingdom someday. But his nation was an isolated one, feared by all the other kings of the realm. No lord would let their daughters marry the prince, and none were worthy of such a handsome man. The prince, however, needed a wife. As such, the witch just had to cast a few spells, and make the perfect princess for him. Unfortunately, the spell was very powerful, and only those born with strong magical resistance could withstand it. Suddenly, her crow squawked, and flew over to a young man...

Meanwhile, in the markets, you were looking over the wares of a fruit merchant. Your family had earned lots of coin over the past few weeks, and wanted to celebrate with a grand feast. You were tasked with finding the fruit for the party. Suddenly, a bird flew over, and started circling above your head. You tried to swat it away, but it was too fast. The old woman looked over at you, and sensed your energy. You would withstand her spell. The old woman began to walk over to you.
Little did you know that soon you would go from some everyday commoner, to a beautiful, dress wearing, girly princess.
