The two split up, each heading to their respective dressing rooms. John closed the door and looked sheepishly at the squirrel suit. "Well... It isn't too bad. There are a LOT of other things she could have picked!" He shuddered at the thought of turning into a pig or something worse. But he pushed those thoughts out of his head and focused on the now. He undressed, placing his old clothes in a pile nearby for later before placing a hesitant foot inside the costume. Immediately the suit seemed to come to life, reshaping and clamping down on his leg, becomming skin tight! The reaction from the suit caught John off guard, as he stumbled backwards nearly falling out of the dressing room.
"Are you okay, sir?" Asked the familiar voice of the receptionist.
"Y-Yeah, everything's fine... I think" John slowly regained his balance, as he realized that his feet had already been replaced by the suits cartoonishly large squirrel feet. Taking a seat for the rest of the process, he took a deep breath before placing both arms into the suit and zipping the costume up. Again, the suit vaccuum sealed itself onto his body. Then, to John's astonishment, the zipper itself completely vanished! He patted up and down his chest with his new hands, but there was no sign of it. He looked around for any explanation, but only managed to catch a glimpse of himself in the full length mirror.
There he stood, a cartoon squirrel from the neck down. He admired his look in the mirror for a moment before reaching for the mask, when he realized there was no such thing! He was perplexed, maybe they had made a mistake? He scratched his head when he noticed something off... It felt like he was scratching his ears? He turned to the mirror once again when it dawned on him, to see his head and face were quickly changing!
Fur covered his face as his nose became more squirrel-like. Shortly after, his mouth jutted out slightly into a cartoon muzzle! He felt a tingling in his mouth as his front teeth grew larger and larger... Becomming appropriately sized buck teeth. The last changes took effect as his eyes expanded and grew into large, round, adorable eyes.
John could only stand there in bewilderment for a minute, before realizing that, for one, he now HAD an honest to goodness TAIL. AND that it had been twitching the whole time! Snapping out of it, he gathered up his clothes and, with some difficulty, put them on. In particular, his pants would no longer fit properly because of his tail. So for now his tail awkwardly hung over the back of his jeans.
"I wonder if Carrie is having this much trouble..." He grumbled.
