As he is about to speak someone interrupts you.
"What the hell is going on here!?!?"
You turn to see it is the real Anthony and John, apparently they decided to go out to the same restaurant as you.
"Hey big brother" John-Jack responds
Anthony laments over the statement for a few seconds before his eyes widen with disbelief
"Jack!?!?" He says in a rather loud whisper
"The one and only"
"Why do you look like my boyfriend!?!? And who is this over here looking like me"
"So... that first one is a bit complicated so let's come back to that, but as for the second you remember my longtime best friend Brian (that's you) right?"
"Hey Anthony" you say to him
"So can you please explain to us how you did this?!?!"
"Can we take this somewhere private? It's a bit long story and I don't want to create a spectacle with the fact that their are two pairs of you guys."
You take the conversation to Anthony's car, you both tell him and John everything about the socks. John, who had been surprisingly quiet before, was first to speak:
"I think these socks are pretty fucking cool"
Anthony then nods his head in agreement
"You guys believe actually believe us?" You respond
"Were sitting in front of two exact copies of ourselves. How could we not."
They pause for a moment and nod at eachother in agreement before John continues.
"In fact, I think Anthony and I would like to try these socks out as well with you guys."
Anthony is next to chime in
"Why don't you guys go back to your house, change back to yourselves, and drive over to our apartment with whatever collection of shoes that you have, clearly you've got some kind of collection if you were able to become both of us."
You both happily agree, it could be fun adding two people to the mix.
You both drive back to your house and do as you were told, pretty soon you and Jack are leaving the house in your original bodies both both carrying a duffle bag filled with shoes.
When you get to their apartment, you knock on the door, Anthony opens the door a crack to see who it is, recognizing it's the two of you he closes the door, unlatches it and lets you in. As you walk into their apartment, you see tons of shoes scattered all over the apartment floor.
"For some reason, we've been the dumping ground for all of our extended family and friend's old shoes since we started dating a few years ago and haven't had the time to do something about them."
"I guess it came in pretty handy today." You respond
"Oh you have no idea"
"Shall we begin?" John asks
