observing a half dozen folk dressed in those realistic looking
masks.
Their voices are flavoured with hisses
growls and grunts
and the group seems to consist of
a woman named Monica wearing a cougar mask
a woman named Sam(antha) wearing a snake mask
a woman named Elvina wearing a dragon mask
a man and a woman wearing peacock masks
three men wearing wolf and fox masks
They seem to be talking about animals taking over th human world and it slowly dawns on you as you catch snatches of their conversation that these eight crazy furries believe tonights masquerade party is when the takeover will start.

Now Elvina,who'd been partly hidden by the others had at a distance seemed normal.Just a woman wearing
a fancy furry costume.
Then as you watch in shocked awe she gets up off the chair you assume she's sitting on
and things change

general direction you
first realize she isn't human.
