Answer is... you're dead. Don't worry about that though, the fact that you still exist after death is a miracle that only a select few get to enjoy. Though after billions of years those few have increased to quite the number.
Anyway, it put it simple you're in what you would call the afterlife. The only reason why you're here is because your soul has enough willpower to not blink away from existence. Now that you are here though... the possibilities are endless. If this was a game, your original world which we call Prime would make about about a fraction of a percent of the content you can experience. Here Magic and Science are one and the same, every pleasure, desire, want, and need you have can be fulfilled here, where having a cyborg beaver as a best friend and a ghost squid as your boss being considered as the norm, but there is a price... it's having to survive and struggle against Them. The ancient ones that even the physical manifestations of Order and Chaos would tremble at the thought of. The entities that are completely beyond reality and for some reason or another will only be content when they permanently kill all of us, with no second afterlife after our death.
In exchange for the ultimate pleasure you must risk your life nearly everyday because this is a war, a war that you signed up for when your soul decided not to wink out of reality and we need every person we can get for this war that will end, with us all eventually being killed, so how about we try our dam best to prolong that for just a little while longer? What do you say? If you say no I'll be forced to ship you off to some primitive planet with no human presence, so it'd would really be waist for you to agree, because regardless of your answer, They will came for you.
