Out of the numerous possibilities that my beloved Molly would have transformed into, a Gargoyle was something I completely didn't expect whatsoever. And no, she didn't become a stone statue like you would normally see on the tops of medieval castles. But instead, she became something straight out of Greg Weisman's "Gargoyles" from Disney. You know, turn to stone by day, flesh and bone by night, can glide on wind currents, oh, and did I forget to mention that their eyes glow when they're pissed off? Yeah, THOSE Gargoyles.
My inner childhood would be screaming at the top of his lungs out of pure joy to see something straight out of Disney's Gargoyles. That is, if it wasn't my girlfriend that was the Gargoyle!
In appearance, Molly now looked almost exactly like Demona from the show, minus the golden headpiece that Demona wears in the cartoon. However, in some ways, Molly looked much different from Demona did, which included long brown hair and pointed elven ears. However, Molly's eyes, once a shimmering jade green, we're now a burnt orange in hue.
When Molly first saw herself in her fully transformed body, well... let's just say that my girlfriend was beyond distraught, for I could still recount her reaction in vivid detail: Her light blue-skinned clawed hands shaking in fear. Her screaming mixed between a shriek and a Gargoyle's roar, as her Gargoyle wings fully unfolded on fully displaying her true wingspan. And then her collapsing onto her knees, crying in utter despair and misery over what she has now become.
But...that was a long time ago.
It has been almost 5 months since Molly's transformation into a Gargoyle, and life... Well, our lives haven't been the same since then. I mean, we still love each other, but... It's very hard to have a conversation with your girlfriend when she transforms into a stone statue during the entire day, from when the sun rises...to when the sun goes down. Suffice to say, this has drastically altered my internal clock, for I now had to stay up late at night just so I can see and talk to her.
But, aproximate lyrics 3 days ago, something...happened. Turns out, there's this secret organization hidden within the Museum of Archeology, calling themselves "The Prodigium". Apparently, they're supposed to be some sort of Monster Containment Group, where they hunt down and contain monsters that pose a threat to the human race. Now, as for how they knew about Molly being a Gargoyle and what their interest was in her, well... Let's just say that Molly has been secretly been having these nighttime adventures out into the city we live in; St. Louis, Missouri.
At first, when I woke up one night to find her missing, I went out to search for her. Fortunately, I was able to find Molly downtown, only to find her crying on the rooftop of an apartment building. Turns out, she went to visit her parents, only for them to become scared of her when she revealed herself to them. Nowadays, Molly's own parents now thought that she was a monster. Anyway, just as I was comforting her, the Prodigium sent it's soldiers to capture her, using taster guns and shock batons to incapacitate her. Of course, I fought back, trying to save my transformed girlfriend's life. That is, until several of them ganged up on me, held me down, and threatened to kill me if I didn't stop resisting them.
Needless to say, I was taken against my will, as they kept prodding Molly with stun rods in order to keep her incapacitated, while I kept yelling at those bastards to stop hurting her, only for one of them to whack me in the head with his gun's buttstock. Eventually, after several hours of unconsciousness....
