"Shouldn't we dispose of the farmer?" asked Christine.
"There's no time, we need to get out of here and find a way back to our world," said Dustin. "Ty, how do we get back to our world anyway?"
"The only way back is to find the wizard and have him send us back," Ty replied.
"Don't you have powers that could send us back," said Mike.
"Not in this realm, only the wizard can return us to our world," answered Ty.
They finished packing their supplies, along with several potions. "In which direction is the wizard's palace?" asked Brian.
Ty replied, "We have to go down the path through the town."
The others looked at Ty, wide-eyed.
"You must be crazy! They'll surely catch us and return us to the farm," said Mike. "I've already given birth to two calves. I'm not giving birth to a third."
"I have an idea," said Christine. Christine pulled out some clothes from her bag. "I managed to steal some clothes from the farmer. If we dress up like commoners perhaps they won't pay any attention to us."
Christine laid out the clothes. Ty rubbed his hand against his face in a worried sort of way.
"It's a good plan, Christine. Except for one problem. There are only three sets of clothing, and there's six of us," said Ty.
"Well, three of us will go disguised as commoners then," she said.
"What about the other three?" asked Mike.
Christine pulled a potion out of her bag and held it up before the others. "So who's it gonna be?"
Joe sighed, "Only one way to settle it: Rock, Paper, Scissors!"
The gang began to venture towards the town. Three commoners riding three horses. Brian was a commoner riding Mike, Christine was a commoner riding Joe, and Dustin was a commoner riding Ty. The three riders finally entered the city and for the most part they were blending in perfectly. No one seemed to pay any attention to them. It took them nearly ten minutes walking through the town before they were approaching the edge of the town's border. Then, out of nowhere, a man approached the three riders.
"Don't believe I know any of you. What's your business here?" said the man.
"We're just passing through," replied Dustin.
"Where ya from?" asked the man.
"Nowhere in particular," said Dustin.
"Reason why I'm asking is because, we heard a local farmer was having problems with a group of adventurers. For a while, he claimed that he had caught them and added them to his dairy farm, but we just received word that these adventurers had managed to escape his farm." said the man. "I just wanted to know if you'd seen or heard anything about it."
"I haven't heard anything about it," said Dustin. "Like I said, we're just passing through."
"Well... safe travels my friends," said the man.
The three riders waved to him and continued on their way.
"Tell that centaur his friend said hi," said the man.
"Sure thing," said Dustin. Then he and the others stopped and turned around.
The man stood there with a smile on his face and said, "NOW!"
