Jen eventually uncovered her head, sitting up. She tested her range of movement of her new neck, discovering she could, in fact, angle her head forward like a normal person's without much effort. "Must be a hybrid with my human one, then," Jen concluded. Out of the corner of her near 360˚ vision, however, she saw her reflection, which scared her again, as she wasn't quite used to seeing the massive head of a shark perched on her athletic frame.
Jen paused and got up, noticing her clothing - specifically, her tops - had changed dramatically. She was now wearing a rather fitting "Jaws" tank top, which fit over her enlarged head nicely, hanging loosely on her torso, but still had her athletic shorts on from before.
"Jen!! Breakfast!! Now!" she heard her mother call out, snapping Jen from her stupor.
She rushed downstairs, one sock still missing, to the kitchen. She was met with her "breakfast" - a raw cow's leg. She could sense it from across the house, the blood, the insatiable lust for meat. She rushed eagerly over to the disembodied limb, ripping it to shreds in a matter of what felt like seconds. She then noticed she'd lost a few teeth in the ordeal, but hadn't felt any disappear - she then remembered that sharks continually grow new teeth, and she now had hundreds! "Thanks, mom," she tried to say, but nothing came out of her shark mouth. Another piece of information zoomed into her brain - sign language! She then signed the equivalent to her mom, who responded, "no problem, my little minnow. Now go catch your bus!"
Jen then readied herself all the way, finding her extra sock, and went out to her waiting bus.
