After walking and wandering the beachside stores the three went their separate ways. The African American girl was flattered by NightSwan's offer but she was just freed from slavery and didn't want to get mixed up in anymore crime related buisness.
Diamond walked through the cold night, her path illuminated by the streetlights giving everything a yellowish hue.
Then she heard the unmistakable sound of someone being mugged, the girl sprang into action and ran twards the sounds.
"What the? Get lost bitch or you'll endup in a bodybag!" One of the masked men threatened.
Diamond was feeling more confident in herself but was taken back when a large truck carrying a searing hot, unknown chemical suddenly crashed, soaking the girl in it's boiling liquid. By now the criminals and the hostage had ran off. The crash broke the street lamp, the exposed wires hitting the chemical and electrocuting her.
She fell to the ground and woke up feeling surprisingly better.
Weary of what had just happened, she made her way to the bluelight district and into Blue Harlem.
Her clothes were all but destroyed and she used what little money Yvett had given her and walked out of the store wearing a black shirt under a blue hoodie, jeans and black boots.
As she was walking Lucy Steel, her real name, came across a convenience store being robed by an armed assailant.
Lucy flipped her hood up and went in to stop the man, the French girl had taught her a thing or two but she had suprise on her side. Unfortunately when she opened the door, the automated ding that signaled the door openening gave her away. The man shot her twice but to her surprise, the bullets bounced right off her. The accident had given her unbreakable skin and superior strength and stamina.
The would be robber was freaked and tried squeezing off a couple more rounds that got the same result. She looked up at him and to his shock, the girl was able to pick him up with one arm and threw him out the doors, slightly cracking the glass.
When Lucy heard sirens in the distance she ran towards her old apartment.
