There was a doorbell and the boy said "It's probably Sera. I'll get it." he checked the door and opened it revealing a girl in a plain dress seemingly made mostly of cotton... and her ears were rather pointy.
The elf said "Thanks for letting me over to see the new catgirl." She smiled looking around and then she spotted you. She got down low and slowly crawled in your direction. She whispered "hello there little one, no need to be scared. Here you can sniff me if you want." then slowly pushed her hand along the carpet towards you. You backed away slightly at first then crept up slightly closer then poked her hand a bit and it indeed felt like a hand. Then you sniffed it a bit and it smelled like fresh cut grass. Your not sure what the scent was but if was calming. The hand then started petting you and you let it. Whatever was petting you was lifting you up and you didn't really care that much as you curled up in the arms of the elf. The elf then said "And that is how you handle a cat... a beastman like her shares some instincts. Such a small one... can't tell if the lack of hair is due to age or maybe breed. You know some breeders try to make them look more human, bit cruel in my opinion but some people want that sort of thing I guess."

The woman nodded and said "Yes, I figured it would be easier for it to get used to us that way. Have good experiences as early as we can."
