Jeff and his dad Mike thought about what changes they could try with the Chronivac together. It was a rare opportunity for them, as Mike was often busy with work and had little free time to enjoy with his kids. As Jeff pondered about this, an idea came to mind.
"Hey dad, I have an idea. I know it's tough to work and support our family, and you don't have much time to spend with us. Now that we finally have some free time together, I was wondering how we could use the Chronivac to help you relax and enjoy yourself. So I thought we could become the same age and hang out as good friends. This way, you can enjoy being young and carefree again, and we can spend time together," Jeff said as he searched through the menu on the Chronivac for the age option.
"Are you sure this will work?" Mike was genuinely interested by his son's offer. The stress from work and raising a family had gradually taken its toll on him, leaving Mike weary and longing for some respite. However, he was not sure if the Chronivac could make such a drastic change, even after Jeff's demonstration.
Jeff clicked on the age option in the Chronivac menu and began to type in the details of both their transformations. "I'm sure it will, dad, I don't think there is anything this program can't do."
Jeff started with his own transformation. He planned to become older, but not too old. 25 seemed like a good number for the two of them, so Jeff typed this in as his new age. Scrolling down the list of options, he decided to tick the awareness option so that he would be able to enjoy the transformation. Jeff realized that people might notice something amiss if they found out about the transformation, so he ticked the reality change option. To become his dad's friend, he would also need to have some shared experiences and memories with his dad, so he ticked the mental change option.
Satisfied, Jeff moved on to his dad's transformation. He his father's new age to 25. As he did so, the Chronivac detected the ages of both Mike and Jeff, and a notice appeared, highlighting that they needed to alter their relationship instead of being father and son. Jeff changed it to make them close friends since childhood. For the remaining options, Jeff chose the same ones as before. He explained to his dad that this would make him aware of the change, but everyone else would think that they had always been this age and had been close friends.
Finally, they arrived at the transformation speed. Jeff asked, "How quickly should the change happen?"
"Hmm, I think it shouldn't be so fast that we don't get to enjoy it, but also not too slow that we don't notice anything... maybe 10 minutes?" Mike pondered.
"That sounds good." Jeff keyed in the change to occur over 10 minutes for both of them. As for how long the transformed state should last, Jeff suggested at least an hour so they had enough time to experience it. Mike chose 3 hours, but they agreed that if they liked it, they could always extend it.
Both of them checked the changes to ensure everything was correct. When they were ready, Jeff clicked the Submit button and was greeted by a warning, informing them of what was going to happen. At the bottom of the warning, there was a single Confirm button.
"Here goes," Jeff said as he hit the button. Immediately, both Jeff and his dad felt a tingling in their bodies. Mike was confused. "Jeff? Is this tingling supposed to happen?"
"It's normal dad, it means the change is starting." Jeff pointed to the countdown timer on the screen, which had already started to time 10 minutes. "I think we should go look in the mirror to watch the changes."
Turning to the mirror, Jeff and Mike didn't see any obvious differences, but that was because the transformation had just started. However, as Jeff looked, he realized that his clothes were getting tighter, and he was definitely growing taller.
"It's happening, dad!" Jeff exclaimed, as he stripped down to his boxers to get a closer look of his changes. As he progressed through the later half of his puberty, Jeff watched as he continued to grow taller, and his body began to pack on some muscle. A few hairs appeared on his chest and around his nipples, darkening and multiplying as he began to grow a little chest hair. His armpit hair thickened as well, the brown hairs growing longer and more numerous.
Mike himself had also noticed some changes - some of the gray hairs had started to turn back to his original brown, and as he watched, his hair gradually turned back to the brown shade it used to be. Some of the wrinkles had also started to fade from his face. Slowly but surely, Mike was reclaiming his youth. As he looked over the rest of his body, he could tell his belly was also beginning to shrink, and he was already looking slightly less flabby than before. He definitely wouldn't be missing his 'dad bod', as his younger colleagues liked to tease him. Mike began to look more energetic and youthful. The hair on his head was now mostly brown, and many of his wrinkles were already gone. Mike followed Jeff's example and took of his clothes as well, seeing how his hairy dad bod was slowly reverting back to a younger version of himself. He placed a hand on his chest, feeling as the muscle beneath grew and filled out, while his stomach was rapidly shrinking down.
Jeff looked in the mirror and noticed that his features began to shift slightly. His formerly brown eyes changed to blue, while his nose and lips reshaped themselves slightly, changing his appearance. Jeff realized that now that he was no longer Mike's son, reality would change to make his father someone else, and he would lose the features that he had inherited from Mike, only for them to replaced by those from his new father. Thankfully, the changes weren't so drastic, but it was obvious that Jeff was a different person now.
As Mike regressed through his thirties, his muscles continued to grow, gradually returning him to the bulked out appearance he had worked hard to achieve in his youth, but no longer had the time to maintain after starting a family. Mike's arms and legs grew larger, the fat seemingly melting away as it was replaced by muscle. His pecs, still covered by luscious chest hair, were now firm, much unlike the flabby man boobs they had been previously. His belly was almost gone now, and he could see his abs beginning to show under his generous abdominal hair. His beard slowly began to shrink back, and Mike remembered that this was about the time where he decided to grow out his beard and body hair. Indeed, his watched as his chest hair and abdominal hair quickly began to shorten, and the hair on his arms and legs followed suit, eventually disappearing and giving his body a clean-shaven appearance. Even his beard was gone, leaving his face smooth.
Jeff felt a tickle in his boxers as his dick lengthened and his balls enlarged, giving him a fuller package. His pubic hair grew into a dense brown bush that began to creep upwards towards his navel. Looking closely at his face, he could see hairs growing on his lip and chin, giving him first some stubble and then some actual facial hair, as his sideburns began to grow in. His jaw and cheeks became more defined, giving him a more mature look. Even the hair on his arms and legs was becoming darker and thicker. Jeff was truly becoming a man, and he liked it.
Mike was now looking at the product of the amateur bodybuilding efforts in his youth. He smiled, gazing over his muscular, chiseled form. All the fat and flab that he previously had was long gone, replaced by rippling cords of muscle. His pecs formed shelves on his chest, and his abs stood out clearly, deep grooves running between them. Mike struck a few poses and flexed his muscles, admiring his body. He recalled fondly about how this gave him an advantage when picking up girls in the bar, and it was how he had met his wife. However, Mike found any further memories of his wife and family difficult to recall. He realized that he was now younger than he was when he had started his family, and the mental changes were kicking in.
As the changes progressed, Jeff had already passed the age of 20 and was essentially done with puberty. Jeff admired himself in the mirror as his muscles became larger and more defined, as if he had been working out in the gym for a few years. The hair on his chest spread further, forming a patch of chest hair that he thought made him look rather masculine. His abdominal hair also began to grow, spreading over the middle of his six-pack. His facial hair had already grown out into a beard, which maintained a trimmed appearance at this point. His muscular arms and legs were also covered by a layer of hair. All in all, Jeff thought he was a rather manly man, and he would definitely have no problems hooking up with girls. The testosterone from his balls flooding his system caused his libido to increase, and Jeff found himself popping a boner, obviously visible through his boxers. He experimentally placed a hand in his boxers, feeling his new and more powerful manhood, shuddering slightly as it sent a wave of pleasure through him. He looked in the mirror and saw his face become slightly more youthful, although it was still masculine. Mike glanced over at the Chronivac, and saw that the changes were almost over. He couldn't wait to spend some time with his best friend Jeff.
In the last few moments of the change, reality began to shift to match the changes. The pictures in the house changed, as Mike was replaced by Jeff's new father, and memories were altered so that Jeff and Mike had always been the same age. Finally, the timer chimed, and the changes completed themselves, leaving Jeff and Mike as 25 year old best friends, hanging out in Jeff's room.
"Damn, Jeff, this is amazing," Mike blurted out. "It feels good to be young again."
Jeff laughed. "Yeah Mike, I think it still feels pretty unreal. What do you suggest we do now?"
