After a few weeks of life at Rose Heights Lorabell was starting to become fond of the quaint village, a peaceful routine had mellowed the once string military captain. She could almost forget about the EU and the zombies, and just focus on her new life: church, cutting hair, and being part of this nice, tranquil community. It was probably due to the daily "reeducation" sessions that helped Lorabell see the true way of things and forget the nasty complications of her old life that were a very distant, blurry memory.
Today after church, Lorabell went to Philas's house to give him some extra fruits she got at the market, but really she had taken a great liking to Philas, he was the one who had saved her from those ghastly bad people (zombies are too frightening for a lady like her to think about). The woman knocked on his door, wearing a pretty purple summer dress with a sun hat that had a lavender colored bow, purple 2 inch heels. In her arms was a basket with the fruit in it.
"Lorabell, what a pleasant surprise! Come in please." Philas greeted warmly.
She entered with her own kind smile she normally wore. Lorabell set the basket on the table and joined the man in the house's living room; the two talked for a while and after eating lunch, which Lorabell prepared(being the woman, which was expected in the old fashioned town). Philas then took her hands in his and asked,
"Lorabell Jones, will you marry me?"
She was so excited she immediately replied,
"Oh yes, of course Philas!"
The two kissed passionately, they were married the next day in the town church. She was now Lorabell Beacher! Mrs. Beacher moved in with her new husband and she couldn't be happier, she decided to stay in Rose Heights; maybe have a few kids soon!
