After leaving the Magic Shop, the two girls had returned home to their apartment, as the first thing that the changed man, now woman, wanted to do was learn about who she now was. Shaniquah's former self had kept an extensive e-diary, and that, along with her internet history and photo collection, had helped her realize an enormous amount about her new identity. She opened her laptop...
Shaniquah O'Brien, formerly Patrick, had discovered much about her life had changed in the hours since she had drank the TG Soda. First of all, she was apparently now adopted. Her parents hadn't changed to become black like she was. They were still pale skinned ginger Irish folk. In this strange new reality, Shaniquah had been removed from her real parents by child protective services when her kindergarten teacher had learned that she had not eaten in three weeks and her home had no running water or electricity, as her mom and dad were degenerate crack fiends. Russell and Alice O'Brien had become had foster parents.
The second thing that she learned was that she was now a women's studies major with a minor in religious anthropology. Patrick had been a full on STEM lord ready to join an engineering firm in two years and often mocked his girlfriend Sandra Hamilton for picking such a useless major. When Sandra had read that they were now in the same boat career wise, she laughed bitterly at Shaniquah, who could now do nothing but eat crow.
The third thing that Shaniquah discovered was that she was now a full on SJW Tumblrina who had a blog filled with all the histrionic rantings that one would expect a young, female, educated Tumblr user would have.
Sandra laughed especially at the fandoms. So. Many. Fandoms.
“Girl, you're knee deep into SuperWhoLock!” she laughed uproariously as she saw Shaniquah's posts from the past few years, acting like a hyperactive fangirl.
Even worse, Shaniquah was apparently now a cosplayer. There were pictures of her on her Tumblr page at comic conventions dressed as Riri Williams(IronHeart), the so called “replacement” for Tony Stark in Marvel Comics, as well as Wonder Woman, Hermione Granger, Imperator Furiosa, and Garnet from Steven Universe. The latter postings had acquired much hatred from other Tumblrina's who encouraged Shaniquah to kill herself for body shaming since apparently she was “too skinny” to properly pull off the character.
The fourth thing, the most important thing, was that Shaniquah and Sandra were now lovers, just as Patrick and Sandra had been. Shaniquah and Sandra were both out and proud lesbians, and they seemed based on photos on Snapchat and Instagram to be pretty militant about their right to love.
“Wow” said Shaniquah as she closed her laptop. “So much has changed. I can't believe just one soda did all that.”
“It wasn't just the TG Soda” said Sandra, laying on their red velvet couch, legs crossed Indian style. “You know the deal you made with those witches at Delta Gamma would change our entire reality.”
