Sandra a somewhat plain girl was walking home from another day of high school. She supposed she was lucky her home was in walking distance although she didn't feel very lucky at all in her life. She guessed she was lucky she wasn't ugly or stupid, but then again she was a but unlucky in the fact that barely anyone besides her family knew she existed. Her teachers had collected her work but she was rarely called in class and just kind of blended in with everyone else. She sighed as she walked past a plastic bag thinking "Oh boy we're getting more and more liter in the neighborhood these days aren't we?" then she thought she heard some muffled scream coming from the bag. Sandra thought it was a prank but curious looked down to the plastic bag and saw that it was tied closed. She ripped it open with a swift yank and then something glowing dashed out of the opening and rose into the sky. Sandra then thought "Did someone put drugs in the cafeteria food today?" then the glowing thing came downwards and then stopped a few feet in front of Sandra's face. Sandra looked around and no one else was around to confirm whether what she saw was real or not.
The orb said in a high pitched voice "Thank you for saving me! Some jerk caught me in that bag and trapped me in there. Allow me to give you my blessing for helping me." Then some sparkles were flung in Sandra's eyes. Sandra tried to get a better look at the radiant orb-seeming thing but when the sparkles faded she just heard a voice "If you ever need any more help just try to look my kind up. You'll probably be able to find us easy!"
Sandra just thought "Welp... I guess i'm under the influence of something. Let's just get home first." After a few more minutes of walking she unlocked her front door and got said "I'm Home!" Then took her shoes off and prepared to take her backpack and purse up to her room.
Her mother asked "How was your day?"
Sandra walking to her room said "Mostly the same..." she put her bags on her bed and then walked out towards the kitchen where her mother was and then said "Do I look or sound a little off?"
Sandra's mom took a look at her daughter and said "You seem fine."
Sandra said "So my speech doesn't seem slurred or my eyes seem odd?"
Sandra's mother shook her head and said "Your a healthy girl. Did you inhale some second hand weed some delinquents were smoking outside of school or something?"
Sandra said "Just thought I may have been hallucinating one thing... I heard a plastic bag scream, I opened it up and some glowing thing came out and gave me it's blessing or something?"
Sandra's mother said "Maybe your working yourself a little too hard?"
Sandra opened up the fridge and said "Yeah maybe... Is the milk hid somewhere?" Sandra couldn't find any milk in the refrigerator and she really felt like having a glass after a hot walk home.
Sandra's mother said "No, i'll be getting some more groceries tomorrow so please bear with some ice water or something."
Sandra sighed and said "fine." She took out a cup from the cupboard and muttered under her breath "wanted some ice cold milk though."
Sandra's mother said "Please speak up or not at all!" Sandra was about to say something then paused as her chest felt a little funny. She then stared as it looked like her boobs grew a bit and then noticed her shirt was getting some damp spots.
Sandra stared at them and asked "Ugh... mom am I hallucinating!?!"
Sandra's mother looked and said "no... honey you aren't pregnant right?" Sandra shook her head.
Sandra put her hands on her chest and said "My breasts are also... cold... like ice cold... Like go ahead and touch them a little."
Sandra's mother with concern poked her daughter's breast gently and it felt as if she had touched a cold leathery sack of water. She said "Now that isn't normal... I'll go call a doctor... How could this happen?"
Sandra thought and said "Well I thought I wish I had some ice cold milk... Now my body is generating milk and making it cold... maybe that glowing thing was real and this is what he meant by a blessing?"
her mother looked at her and asked "I guess maybe you weren't hallucinating... but it's still kind of out there you know?"
Sandra said "Well what if that thing was a fairy. I know it must seem strange after me having called it a glowing orb but couldn't it be possible? Either way while your calling the doctor's office i'll see if I can figure out what the heck I was hallucinating and seeing if there's something I can do." After a little bit of time researching though...
