With a smile on her face and her piercing brown eyes fixed on me my mind was lost, disoriented and completely paralyzed. Everything became a haze as my senses swirled and the world spun about me. Only the witches eyes were clear to me until a sharp laugh brought me back to the street.
I was on my stomach looking up at the her holding the ring between her fingers. "Oh hey there Bessey, look what I wrangled free" she flipped it in the air and caught it with a closed fist. I tried to stand but crashed forward as the shock of her spell wore off. Mooooo! I screamed as the rough side walk scrapped my underbelly as I tried to rise. "Oh calm down there Bessey, you will get your ring back" finally standing upright I felt the unnatural sensation of udders dangling from me. "I lifted my spell on it, all you need to do is wish for your old body back and voilą! Magic ring to the rescue." She opened her fist and revealed the ring on a very thin twine string.
"This baby only works for humans though so not sure how you will get out of this." She leaned forward and tied it around my neck which inadvertently gave me a plentiful view of her cleavage. She caught me starring and rolled her eyes. "I have like zero remorse right now" she raised her wand and slammed it down right on my snout instantly transporting me to a field somewhere.
Still not completely confident I hadn't gone mad I started looked around to find only patches of woods and the sound of a stream nearby. Before investigating I exhausted myself swinging my neck trying to will the ring free and get my paws at it. The thin twine held though and I gave up. I had no idea how freeing the ring would help anyways.
"Hey there girl" a soft voice called out. I spun around to find a young woman had creeped up on me. "Easy girl, you're okay" a male voice pulled me to the right. A couple out for a stroll must have heard me flailing around. "She's got a rope around her neck" the man said to the woman.
"I will distract her while you untangle that thing." She responded. "Poor thing probably thinks she is chocking" I backed away slowly as my mind tried to decided if this was a good thing or not. I let them approach a bit closer and tried mooing out speach. They weren't getting it. Can I moo in morse code?
With a flash of activity the man had closed the gap and yanked the string from my neck. Not sure why but I panicked and charged forward hitting him dead on. "Stan!" The woman shouted and ran over. "I'm okay, just a little winded" he said standing up with his companion's help.
I had circled back and tried to grab the ring from his hand with my mouth "Hey!" He said recoiling. "Damn thing better not have rabbies".
"Wonder how she got it" the woman said taking the ring from Stan.
"Probably some kind of prank" Stand replied watching her slip it on.
"Weird...." she shivered. "It's exactly my size and it has this weird tingling feel to it"
Moooooo! I yelled out of frustration.
"I wish she would just chill for a moment" the woman said. The ring lit up briefly and I got very tired. I folded my legs and felt the panic and frustration leave me. "Umm... what just happened" she said alarmed.
"What?" Stan asked.
"The ring just made the cow calm down when I asked it." She replied.
"Kayla we haven't even gotten into our stash yet and you're already hallucinating." Stan said walking closer to inspect the ring.
"No, seriously watch this" Kayla held up her hand. "Cow I command you to moo three times" again the ring lit up and I felt unable to resist. "See! She did it. This ring can control cows!"
"Let me try" Stan asked. Kayla slipped off the ring and handed it to him. "Let's see here, um... stand up and wiggle your utters." I complied but to everyones shock Kayla wiggled her breasts and blushed. This had caught Stans attention.
Stan turned to Kayla "Kayla, can you moo 3 times" ?
She gasped at the realisation of what he was doing. "What are you Mooooo Moooooo Mooooo" she covered mouth and made for the ring. I watched as she tackled him and pinned his arm under her knee. He had made a fist but she pried it free anyway. Thrusting it on her finger she yelled out "I wish you were a rat!" The ring lit up and Kayla vanished into her clothing.
"And I wished your wish would backfire." Stan said standing up and flexing his hand. He searched the pile of clothing and picked up the ring which rat Kayla was clinging to with her teeth. "If I wish you back are you going to try to kill me? Stan asked the rat. The rat let her grip go in response.
"Okay good, I wish you were human again" stan watched as both Kayla and myself reappeared as human. Kayla quickly covered herself and was about to start yelling when they noticed the other naked woman... me!
