As you try to take over Milly's mind, Eric heard something and came back. Eric saw what was going on and cut your roots off. He looked at the tree and assumed that it was cursed by someone and got guards to remove it from the garden.
You were shocked at the results, you fell into despair at the fact that you couldn't get to your brother in time and he would eventually die. The guards planted you in a dark chamber with a little bit of sunlight peeking through the cracks.
You were mentally scar'dat the hopelessness of never being able to safe your brother. This had been with you for years and years. It soon turned to centuries and even a millenia since you had been down there and you haven't grown at all.
After years of sadness, someone had found your decrepit chamber. He was a young boy and he appeared to be in clothing that you had never seen before with some kind of hooded robe and some strange shoes with string tightening it.
The young boy looked at you curiously and tried to communicate to you through some magic. At first you couldn't understand him until he adjusted his magic and was able to communicate to you.
He told you that he is the 50th generation of the line of magic users after the witch that sealed you. He told you that you had been forgotten for 1500 years and had been left in this place for that long. He discovered old documents left by the witch that after your brother died, she realised her mistake. She thought that she could be queen of the land but actually realised that she didn't want that but she wanted love. She killed her husband and did cruel things to his sister (you). She ended up running away in guilt and lived a life of secrecy. She doesn't know what happened to the kingdom and always wanted to restore you but she didn't know where you were. She left me hints that you were a magical tree with an odd shape and you were locked in the castle somewhere.
You felt slightly filed with guilt. The witch really just wanted love and she didn't know it herself. You wanted to go back in time and change things but you didn't know how.
The young boy in front of you started to chant something. As he was chanting, you could feel your human limbs again and by the end of the chant you were like the woman you were 1500 years ago. You were naked though but the kid gave you a coat to cover yourself up.
"I hope your ok since you had been immobile for 1500 years. Oh I just realised I hadn't introduced myself, I'm Todd. I know you probably want to go back in time but the thing is that is almost impossible. No one knows how to go back even with magic."
Hearing that made you start to cry. Todd realise what it did to you to hear that and started to comfort you. Todd then said something else.
"I am not able to go back in time yet but magic is like science. We learn new magic spells every so often that advance out knowledge. I can teach you magic and in the future, you may be able to go back. So what do you say. Do you agree?"
