The trio next to her smelt funky... yet familiar, like her Aunt Jasmine's home in Washington state.
"Hey, Sadie, Dudette..." Said a girl in rose tinted shades. She had dirty blonde hair, and wore a tie-dye shirt with stained jeans.
"Yes?" Sadie asked.
"You ever, like, wonder... what's up with ceiling lights? Why are they buzzin' like that?" Said a black girl with frizzy dreads, wearing a beaded top and dark shorts.
"Uhhhh... they buzz because their electric?" Sadie said.
"Woah... we should hang out." a red head said in a spaced out voice. She was dressed in a baggy jacket and messy brown pants.
"I'm not sure I can make it, yah know..." Saide said, trying to make an excuse to get out of being around these "hippie types" her mom despised.
"Come on, we can hang anywhere..." The red head spacily said, "Just look for me, uh... Saria."
"And me, Tasha." the dreadlocked black girl said.
"And, like, me, Rosemary." the tinted glasses girl said.

Sadie took a walk in the park, just to be away from those strange girls.
"Ayyyyy, Sadie! Over here, man...." Rosemary called out.
The Texan sighed in defeat and walked over to the tree the trio was sitting by.
"Look, I'm sure yer nice and all, but I don't really... get your style... know what I mean?" Sadie asked.
"We think you'll understand after some time... heh, funny word... time.. tiiiiime.. ti-i-i-i-mmmmme." Tasha said.
"Here, have a brownie, made them myself." Saria said.
Sadie took a bite and began feeling strange.
"Uhhh... w-what was i-in that brownieeeee....." Saide said as she flopped down, her pupils dilating.
