Even after some rest, Josh still was in shock about his reptilian roommate. His thoughts had gone rampant thinking about who Luc really is, and what he does for a living. Is he just a really good actor, or is he really a dragon? Is he completely friendly, or does he eat people? Questions such as that was what Josh was struggling to answer himself.
Josh had gotten out of bed and went to the kitchen to prepare some breakfast when he noticed that Luc was already up, eating a bowl of cereal (Somehow) and going over what looked like a list of chores or jobs to do. Josh tried to be as casual as possible and said, "Good morning." Luc had jumped out of his seat a little, probably still skitterish about the fact he now lives in an apartment with a total stranger, let alone a completely different race, unless humans aren't the only dominant species on the planet. "O-oh, good morning..." Luc had replied, probably trying to act casual as well in an attempt to make sure the conversation wasn't awkward. "It's almost 3:30 in the morning, what're you doing up?" Luc asked. "I have to get ready early in the morning, I'm pretty busy all the time." Josh responded. "What are you doing up so early?" Luc seemed to pause for a moment, possibly thinking about what to say. "I'm...often busy during the morning, when most people aren't awake yet. After all, a dragon roaming the streets in the middle of the day would cause panic and confusion. Last night I was trying to get home during a time I thought you wouldn't be awake, but I seemed to have slipped up. Still, I'm quite happy you didn't call the police upon seeing me like someone else did." After hearing this, Josh started to a feel a little guilty since after Luc went to his room the night before he was almost finished dialing up '911' before he calmed down. "That...that wasn't you I heard dialing up a number last night were you?" Luc asked, sounding somewhat panicky. "Erm...no no no, not at all." Josh quickly lied, hoping Luc wouldn't get the wrong idea.
Josh had then gotten himself his own bow of cereal before sitting down next to Luc, hoping to strike up a conversation with him again, perhaps getting to know him a little better. "So, you're not a dragon, right? You're an actor?" Josh asked, obviously in denial of whether or not Luc's face was realistic enough to not be a costume, which clearly it wasn't. "You actually think I'm an actor?" Luc's draconic face turned to Josh with puppy eyes, his feelings probably a little hurt. With this Josh could clearly see how real Luc actually was. "Uh, I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings, it's just...dragons are thought to be mythological, and not real, so I figured you might just be a really good actor." Josh apologized. "People do tend to think of me as...fake, or...a monster...but I do get where you're coming from I suppose." Luc had gone back to eating his cereal, and so did Josh. After several minutes (And a finished breakfast), Luc broke the silence. "I figure we may be living here together for a while, so...I'm going to go ahead and trust you with some of my secrets. I told you I wake up early because I have some things I'm busy with in the morning. Well, I usually go to do things a usual human would do, such as go to the grocery store, laundromat, etcetera. Then during the afternoon I work on collecting things to sell, such as expensive minerals from caves and, on occasion, I even go fishing. I usually have one other thing I do during the day, a-and...and......I..."
