Bloatifus Megasis: A virus that reacts with the large amounts of estrogen within female bodies. This reaction releases a batch of chemicals which cause extreme accelerated weight gain around the midsection, chest, and backend, along with chemicals that cause pleasure and happiness in the victim, which makes the victim believe the virus is beneficial and makes the victim less likely to seek treatment. the disease, commonly known as Mega Bloat, only affects women as they produce enough estrogen for the virus to live on. Although men also produce estrogen, it's usually not enough to keep the virus stable, and the virus dies off. The virus' unique structure allows it to travel in many different ways, airborne being it's most common form, with physical contact being second and sexually transmitted being third. Despite this, the disease itself is very uncommon. it must be perfectly germinated and can only go airborne in moist, warm climates, but once it's airborne, it can go from it's point of origin to the other side of the globe with ease. Many people decided that the virus had been wiped out, but small scale cases of Mega Bloat have been popping up recently all around the western hemisphere. The cure for Mega Bloat is testosterone treatment to kill off the virus and either diet/exercise for early cases and liposuction for extreme cases. The testosterone treatment may cause some masculine features, but only will last until the virus is confirmed to have been terminated, at which point they will administer estrogen treatment to undo the side effects of testosterone.
A crazed scientist has recently moved to a town where there was a pretty high male to female ratio. for every man, there were about 10 or 20 females. The scientist had whipped up a batch of the Mega Bloat virus, which had ravished this town about 20 years ago due to it's high female population. He was planning on releasing this disease to the town, but needed a place to release it. He found a pretty warm swampy area in the middle of the town, and using a special spray bottle to spread the virus and a mask to prevent him from in taking the virus, spritzed the virus all over. the warm updrafts carried the virus up into the air, and spread it all over town. Who, in this town of women, would get the disease?
